The PWR lamp is lit in my 1995 Toyota Camry. Since the vehicle has no owner's manual I cannot search that resource.
I have done numerous web searches which have not provided definitive answers either. Can anyone tell me what the PWR light indicates ? There is no ECT PWR button in this vehicle.

Thank you in advance for your help.

The button shold be just to the left of the shifter in the center console. The other post is mostly correct, but I disagree about what to run the car in. The manual says:
(f) Driving in “PWR” mode
In the “PWR” mode, the transmission is
shifted up and down at a higher vehicle
speed than in the “NORM” mode and a
more powerful acceleration is achieved.
To set the “PWR” mode, push in the driving
pattern selector button. The “PWR”
mode indicator light comes on.
For ordinary driving, Toyota recommends
using the “NORM” mode to improve fuel
economy.

I have never seen one without the switch, so if it is missing it has been removed. But if it is gone, the light should not be on based on the wiring diagram.

Hope this helps. God Bless!

Many cars have a ECONO/PWR switch either on the shifter or the counsel. It changes the motors timing and other specs and also changes the automatic transmission shift points. In some vehicles it also increases the fluid pressure to the clutch pacts in the automatic transmission for a more positive shift. It's better in most cases to drive in the PWR mode. The motor stays cleaner from running at higher RPMS and the transmission clutch pacts don't wear as much because they engage quicker without as much slippage. The gas mileage is not that big of difference.
