like the tl is the acura counterpart to the accord. i really like the way the corolla drives

The Lexus IS 350 is the equivalent to the Corolla. It may be shaped a little bit differently but both are what Toyota likes as their entry level model. Personally I wouldn't get one a Corolla or a IS350. I wouldn't call a Toyota's ride smooth. I've driven a Camry and a Corolla both of them had issues. The Camry was just a piece of junk, it had an issue with the accelerator. The Corrola was built way too light and if there was any wind while you were on the freeway you'd be blown all over the place.

corolla ultimately would be the Lexus IS 250. The IS 350 is the corolla based lexus on a bigger platform ,and the ES 350 is the counterpart of the Camry. They all pretty much drive the same. They';re all smooth, but some are sportier than others. I reccomend the GS 350, my personal favorite :)

Sorry, but there is no Lexus version of the Corolla. The IS-series is the US version of the Toyota Altezza. The Corolla is FF, Altezza is FR.
