I have a question about auto insurance .......?

Could you tell me what companies offer accident forgivness ???
What is the main idea of it ??? How does it affect an insurance cost?

I had an accident 6 month ago (property damage) and my responsibilty was 51%.

Some companies advertise if you sign with them they *may* forgive your first accident as a customer. None of them say they will forgive something already on your record when you aren't their customer.

Allstate offers forgiveness but you need to be a customer BEFORE the accident.
