We just bought a 2001 Hyundai Tiburon and it has a
DOHC 16-V Engine in it I was just wondering if anyone else has the same engine or if the person who owned the car before us did an engine swap?

there are too many accidents around your area? like you trust your kids but u don't trust other drivers so you won't let them drive because of accidents and crazy drivers? my sister got her license not long after her 16th b-day, we lived i California and now I'm almost 16 and we live in Texas and i cant get mine because "the drivers there are crazy drivers"

i tried many speeds, but only tried sony cdrs. can you suggest brands or applications that may make the burned cds play in the sanyo excedio car cd player?

83 Honda Shadow 500 Bike starts up fine when cold(over and over), when warm, nothing. Same spark cold or hot, new battery. It will crank over and over but nothing until it sits for about 10-15 minutes and then it will fire right up again.

I've seen plenty of calculators that only calculate the cost of gas savings for hybrid cars vs. both other hybrids and non-hybrids. But are there any calculators for figuring in initial purchase price, expected maintenance, and environmental factors? Even better, any that show a graph showing the "break even" point for that combined cost (e.g. the additional initial cost for a hybrid will even out in x years and y months due to gas and other savings)?

we got into an argument and i tried to stop the car and while he was parking and in drive i pushed it into park! right after the check engine light came on! it only happened in a five second period and he's really worried now, im nervous too, i want to know what could happen if you switch gears while the car is in motion? could i have blown the engine a little? he was about to park when i switched the gears from d to p and was approx. going 7 miles per hour?

ok this isn't a question on how to replace one. i wanted to know if there is a way to make my tail lights bright/more red then the stock bulbs. the reason i'm asking is because i had recently tinted my tail lights and i they turned out great but with a slight purple tint, nothing major but i was wondering if there is a bulb i can buy for my 91 Nissan 240sx SE coupe.

My life is stupid and i need a hobby. Im thinking of building a hot rod for something to play with. What i want to know is can i build a 600-700 Hp motor that i can drive on the street and have it be reliable for $10,000 or less for the MOTOR? One thing i want is a whipple charger. I dont really want to go the nitrous route if i dont have to. So is it possible or should i find something else to do?

For about a month or so now, my car has been squeaking/screeching as I drive, and most especially when I brake(the squeaking started happening when I would brake, now it's constant). On top of that, my brakes have also been making a "grinding" sound for the past week.

My friends have been telling me stories about people they knew whose brakes just.. "went" on them. They just gave out, and they either got in accidents or close to it. Is this really possible?

Also, what is the possibility I only need my brake pads replaced, as opposed to completely new brakes? I'm planning on getting a new car soon, but while I save up, I have to deal with this one.. and I'd really prefer to put little to no money into it.
