my check engine light went on last Friday and went off Tuesday afternoon - I have a car appointment today and don't want to pay the diagnostic fee, but I could get a state inspection since it is up next month - will the state inspection pick up the same stuff that the toyota diagnostic machine would pick up (ex] O2 sensor, gas cap not tight enough, spark plug issues)?

It all started when my stepson kicked the 5-speed shifter towards the drivers side now i can't get it moving more than 15mph it also makes a loud noise. The clutch is fine,i bled it.

I'm not asking if seat belt laws save lives. Maybe they do. Let's just say that they do - for the sake of the arguement. It's the business of Government forcing individuals to wear this or that for their own ....not someone elses safety. Do you think this is a good thing for Government to be doing? Does this bother you? Government has taken away your ability to decide for yourself if this will save, or kill you, in the event of an accident. What you think doesn't count. Do it; or men with Blue uniforms, Clubs & Guns will force you to be "safe".

Just for the record....I don't like it. I don't like it at all. I don't feel comfortable with the government establishing a "dress code" for driving, or walking. I don't feel comfortable for the Government taking responsibility, for my personal safety, away from me. I see how the Government does things. No thanks. With, "your personal safety" as their excuse.....what can't they force you to do?

Yamaha xt 400 1993 model stolen recovered need help?

please can someone help im a dummy,and need to rewire yamaha xt 400 cdi unit
i have 3 white wires RUNNING TO REGULATOR
and a blue+yellow
and a green+white coming from engine.

on cdi there are 2 plugs,
1st plug has 3 wires =1orange THINK GOES TO COIL then= red+white times 2 and black.

next plug
1 black+white 1 green+white and 1 blue+white

plz plz can some one tell me how to get this bike up and running or send me wiring diagram

Ok to keep this short. This is what I need of anyone.
-Help Picking a Great sounding system. (just help me with what would be your dream system, or whats your system right now)
-2 Placement of the stuff, like speakers in the kick pannels, and what not.

so please help me out i'm in desperate need, and i want a better sounding system then everyone in my town. Loud, Tight and Accurate rather then just loud. so i'm thinking JL 13w6v2's because from reading reviews it has gotten top ratings on sound quality in many places.

ps. Price doesn't matter, and the car i'm building the system for is a 2001 Dodge Stratus R/T

I was told that in older cars, if you use your air condition while driving causes your engine to burn more gas. Do that same thing applies to newer cars with these new state of the art engines?

I got the wrong wiring harness.. I installed the 1997 version when I need the 1998 now.. everything is working.. tap into the right stuff using a tester to see what was what from the factory connecter. Now I want to make my deforst button work. I need to know the color code for the factory radio connector or if someone can tell me the location of the two wires for the defrost button. One is for the light and another for the actual switch. I have a 99-5715 from Metra I need to connect my defrost button. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!
