-Help Picking a Great sounding system. (just help me with what would be your dream system, or whats your system right now)
-2 Placement of the stuff, like speakers in the kick pannels, and what not.
-where to get it from
-websites that can help?

feel free to awnser on her, but i'm always free to talk on msn messenger, yahoo messenger, and aol messenger. and would prefer to use one of the messengers listed above for faster awnsers from anyone.

so please help me out i'm in desperate need, and i want a better sounding system then everyone in my town. Loud, Tight and Accurate rather then just loud. so i'm thinking JL 13w6v2's because from reading reviews it has gotten top ratings on sound quality in many places.

ps. Price doesn't matter, and the car i'm building the system for is a 2001 Dodge Stratus R/T

Thanks in Advance - GCBLarry

This is every car audio enthusiast dream question. Honestly I would probably go the rout that you are thinking. And if you truly have the money to go that rout it will cost you. I wouldn’t go to different web sites to find the stuff you need. I would find the best car audio installer in your town and have them pick everything out for you.

JL audio are the best choice for subs. They are expensive but you get what you pay for. I have heard a rumor that the 13” subs don’t sound as good as the 12” subs, now I don’t know if that rumor is true but you would want to check in on that before you buy a 13”. Here is what you need for you JL sub system.

2 13W7 Subwoofers… http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_subs.php?series_id=10

2 1000/1 Amplifiers… http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_amps.php?amp_id=221

2 gauge amp install…http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_connections_detail.php?cat_id=9

For the enclosure (box sub’s go in) I would buy a JL audio factory built box.

Now for the speakers everyone know JL audio has sweet subs but there speakers are not as well known. If you want to keep everything JL audio then you can go that rout and it will sound really good. But if you want perfection then change brands and use Focal. You said you wanted the best stereo well you’re going to pay for it. Each set of speakers will run you about $1600 and you will probably need 2 sets if not more.

The speakers you want are Utopia Be. I’m not sure what your mounting hole size is going to be but these should fit if not make them fit. Here is the web site http://www.focal.tm.fr/accueil_en.htm

Now you need an amplifier. Focal just came out with amps this year and they are epic, very thin and I heard they use a cooling system developed by NASA. Now in choosing an amplifier I’m not a hundred percent on which to use because the amp’s just came out I don’t know what the true wattage on them is but I would suggest 1 FP 2.150 for each set of speakers although the FP 4.75 might work fine for 2 sets. But you can always turn an amplifier down so I would get the bigger of the two.

If you decide on getting 2 of the 2.150’s I would get a JL Audio 4 gauge dual amplifier kit it splits the power wire into 2, 8 gauge pieces of power wire to power each amp.

That’s all you need as far as buying the stuff. For install DINOMAT the entire car and make sure your installers know how to install. If they sell you Focal and JL audio stuff they should be able to install.

Now you have your full system besides the deck of course, but that you should pick out depending on what you are going to use ex. DVD player, mp3, wma, Ipod read, xm radio. Pick a deck that has all of the stuff you need.

Ok so you have JL audio subs with Focal speakers. But you said to state your dream system. Well I have heard JL audio’s subs and they are awesome but everyone has them (who is rich) I would go with Focal sub’s and amp’s. The reason is they just came out and if there anything like there speakers then I know they will sound awesome. Plus I like to keep everything the same.

Sub K2 Power 40 KX or the 46 KX… http://www.focal.tm.fr/accueil_en.htm

As far as the amp I’m not sure if you want to get a FP Dual Monitor for each sub and then bridge them or get a FP 800.1 for each sub. The Dual Monitor bridged looks like the only amp with enough power. Here is the web site for these http://www.focal.tm.fr/accueil_en.htm.

You should go with the JL audio subs for sure. But it would be cool to use all Focal and see what there new amp’s and subs sound like. I’m not sure again which amp matches best with the focal speakers but DON’T let anyone tell you that there is a better speaker then the Focal because they are wrong. And as far as the JL audio sub no one with a brain will tell you to get anything different.

If you have any question I use MSN messenger.
