My friend and I are going to look for cars tomorrow. It's easy for me to do all the talking, since its not my money. But, what do you think we'll find in his price range? He's hoping for something with under 100,000 miles, automatic, 2000 or newer, and good on gas. I obviously told him he won't find all of this, and he'll have to make some compromise. Any tips?

I just started wheeling my 2000 Honda CBR F4 (not F4i) and was wondering if I'm gonna really screw things up if I keep doing it? I know that if you come down hard you can bend the forks but is there anything else that its bad for? I don’t THINK I'm starving the engine of oil because i'm only up for like 2 seconds at a time. Does landing them a moderately hard progressivally weaken the forks? All relevant advice is appriciated...other than "stop doing wheelies".

The boats been abandoned for about a year now. Its stuck in some weeds by the shore of a lake by my house. I've been checking on it for about a year and no one has moved it. Do you think I could claim it and take it and use it for myself?

I just purchased a new 2007 175 bayliner and took it out on the lake and when we came out it looks like the prop hit something although i am positive it didnt. could this be caused by silt in the water? or did i hit something and not know it.
I am sure its not from launch and trailering because the trim is all the way up when i put it in or out. What do you think?

Alright, so I've decided that I want a Toyota Yaris. I really like it because it's inexpensive, and it gets great gas mileage. I am a student paying for college, so I think that the car will be perfect for me. However, I've dealt with some extremely rude Toyota sales people the past few weeks. I know that a Yaris isn't an expensive car, but that's all I can afford. Whenever I tell them that I am looking for a Yaris, the response isn't exactly well...friendly.

I've gone to 3 toyota dealers and have had similar responses. The worst was last week when I had an actual appointment set up with someone to test drive one, and they ditched me and made me sit around for an hour b/c some guys came in and wanted a Seqouia. So rude.

I live in Southeastern Michigan, but wouldn't mind driving a little ways if it means that they'll treat me with respect.

Thanks for any help.

Does anyone live in Houston Texas and had problems with Planet Ford - well let me tell you my experience. I was pre-approved through Ford Motor Credit, spent 4 hours finalizing a deal got almost to finance, the dang finance guy was rude as heck, took FOREVER to get motivated, he was extremely disrespectful, so I walked out! THey came after me and told me that Ford had to approve me for whatever reason, since I was already pre-approved??? Bull! So needless to say, I didnt get my new car????

We bought it brand new in Ca. and was with a 10% apr.. We should have gotten a lower apr because we have great credit so we found a company to refinance it but is that really a good idea to refinance a car.. Our payment is currently 483 per month and would be nice to get a lower payment because I also just bought a truck but how does this work and what should I watch out for? Thanks for your help!

Me and some friends were out on the River yesterday and we rode on a float. It was pulled by a Jet Ski. The float would flip over sometimes and the Jet Ski would maybe be doing 30 to 40 mph...and we hit the water and would flip. Pretty rough impact! Sometimes they Jet Ski would go in circle at about 10 mph but the outward force on the float made it hard to hang on without being thrown off the side, when we were finally thrown the impact was just as rough it seemed. Does anyone know any Website that compare maybe falling off a building to hitting the water and a certain mph, or perhaps a chart. Thanks.

I have a 78 Fiat X-1/9 Bertone that I recently got out of storage. It sat in the Phoenix, AZ baking heat (car cover did not cover tires) for 18 months. Now it feels like it's going over slight bumps in the road all the time, AND the new-ish tires are severly worn on the front (inside) Did the tires get melted flat where it sat for so long? I don't think I've got even a couple thousand miles on them & I think they may need replacing already ! they are alarmingly worn on the inner 2 inches--as in almost no tread depth --ie almost bald! (insert swear words here--the tires weren't cheap!) Any ideas?

My car stutters when it starts. As long as I don't let the car sit to long before I start it again it starts up fine. But if I let it sit all day the next time I try to start it it stutters again.
