Does anyone live in Houston Texas and had problems with Planet Ford - well let me tell you my experience. I was pre-approved through Ford Motor Credit, spent 4 hours finalizing a deal got almost to finance, the dang finance guy was rude as heck, took FOREVER to get motivated, he was extremely disrespectful, so I walked out! THey came after me and told me that Ford had to approve me for whatever reason, since I was already pre-approved??? Bull! So needless to say, I didnt get my new car????

I've only bought 3 new cars in my life and it usually only took a max of 4 hours if you were doing financing through the dealer (Nissan). When I bought my Hyundai earlier this year the paperwork took less then 1 hour including the financing, though I also opted out of the financing as I had my own from E-loan.com who's rate was 1% lower. So, including the test drive, negotiation and paperwork it took about 2 hours to get my new Azera and everyone was very friendly to me.

I'm sorry about your experience. Dealerships can be the rudest people but he lost a commission sale and a life time client so its his lost. Try another Ford dealer. Don't give up on ford. Its a really good brand.

I noticed this when I was new car shopping. It seems that even though the domestic brands are struggling, they manage to stock their dealerships full of the rudest people possible.
