My car starts to gradually overheat everytime I drive it so I have been turning the heater on full blast and it drops the tempreature back to normal. Any help or advice would be great also any possible solutions. I don't want to spend a whole lot of money because I only drive my car to work and one way to my job is about 5 miles. I honestly drive about 10-15 miles a day on the car. I paid 500 dollars for it and I have had it for 3 months. Thanks.

I have a 1992 Ranger with ~205k on it.
The engine is starting to burn a little oil when its cold, but i'm just wondering what would be the best things to do with it (simple stuff like plugs etc.) and also if its worth putting work into cause i dont really know how long these engines usually last.

I hear it coming from the front passenger side of the car, closer to the wheels. I don't want to bring in the car to the dealer because they are incompetent and nasty to deal with. I figure since the car is under warranty, I'll go when something breaks. What do u people think?

We are having a problem on our 1995 Mercury Sable, the front blinkers blink very fast and the back blinkers do not blink at all. Also the brake lights do not work and the wipers are acting weird too. We tried a new flasher box and a new combo switch but these did not help. The fuses all look ok. We are running out of ideas of what it might be. Any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks!!!

Do they make any normal diesel vehicles anymore? I know there were diesel Jeep Liberty's for a couple years, and I think there were diesel VW Golf's, but VW doesn't make Golf's anymore. I know there are still like Ford F-350's and stuff, but anything smaller?

If you precisely interpret FAA guidelines for success or failure of a hijacking, the alleged hijakers of 9/11 were not successful.

"...the FAA definition of hijacking sucess - where hijackers gain control of the plane and reach their destination, where by landing or by a parachute escape, and are not immediately arrested or killed in landing..."

In other words, because the hijackers supposedly died, it would be categorized as an unsuccessful hijaking.

By the way, the source of this quote does point out the importance of redefining the success of a hijacking.

I have an 03 Pontiac Sunfire. While on vacation my
check engine light came on & before heading home, I got a mechanic to check it out. He said it
was a bad sensor - the one that tells the car what gear it's in. He said it would not strand me nor would I probably notice the car running any differently. Dumb question here - if put the car in
R I go backwards, if in D I go forward plus the car does change gears correctly. Why would the car need to "know what gear I am in". What type of sensor tells this?

OK. Right now, I have a 1994 Honda Passport that's on it's last leg. Today, it died in the middle of the road and a week ago, it got into an accident. I keep repairing it and so on, but no matter what, it still breaks down. So, I've decided that it's time for a new SUV. I was thinking about the Lexus GX470 and the Lincoln Navigator, but I've decided that I want a boat or a motorcycle also and if I buy the Lexus or Lincoln with the boat or motorcycle, it will cost almost $70 grand, way above my limit. So, I need to go a little less expensive on the SUV, but I don't know what I want.

I have a 2004 Maroon PT Cruiser and someone spay painted black enamel paint all over the driver's side. An auto body tech said to buy Lacquer Thinner and it would take the paint off...will it work without harming my clear coat and paint??

is there anyway i can remove it? i tried rubbing it and it seems like some of it comes off..right now its sorta whiteish..i think that just may be from the cement block but i dont know =\ theres also some black marks also which i have no idea where they are from..... can anyone help? the marks are on the front of the car at the bottom where it hit the cement block..thanks!

Honda makes a CNG civic. Ford makes a CNG Crown Victoria and F150 pickup truck.

I have a 2002 Ford Taurus. How can I convert it to run off of CNG? I'm in Los Angeles. Anyone I can take it to locally?
