katanas are fast and cheap. old ninja 500's too. if you want new, the ninja 250 that people are talking about is good. if you want used, the money could go further with the katana or the bigger ninja. Stay away from old bikes with low low size.

Check out the Ninja 250. It will do over 100 mph...If you need more, then check out the Ninja 500. These are both great starter bikes.. Many experienced riders love to play with them, and are very good quality at an affordable price.. Just look for them on Yahoo search and you will find that you may be able to afford a new one. Ride Safe.

If it says "Made in Japan" somewhere on the bike. You're always gonna get a quality, dependable machine, as long as it's in good condition with mileage below 10,000mi
