The last one seems to have worked, no more dripping, or pouring when car is hot. Drove it on several short (ussual distance it takes to dump fluid 7 or 8 miles) trips today to check if it would dump after stopped (that is what it does). BUT on the last leg, the gage went beyound hot...after showing no sign of leakage. ???? Please help, I can do some work myself and can not afford a new rad or the labor right now.

I used water to mix. Could it have burned up, or do you think my thermostat is gooked up. Please help, desperate and POOR, (for now). I needed the cheapest possible fix, even do it yourself kinda of stuff, since I have done some work on cars, but older cars and race cars.

So I'm still trying to figure out what's wrong with the low end power on my 99 Honda CBR 600 F4. It's prone to stalling and doesn't generate enough power to pull away from a stop unless I add far too much gas and dance with the clutch.

The previous owner slapped a slip on and K&N air filter on there. The slip on makers claim that their product won't really change any performance issues on the bike except make it a lot louder and maybe add 2-3 HP on the top end (I don't really care about that...I hardly use the top end anyway).

Is it possible the filter is doing something like letting in air too easily at the low end? I'm not very well versed on how carbs work, but it seems possible that the pilot jet etc is set up to expect a certain amount of air but wouldn't be able to keep up with more. Maybe I'm crazy, but I'm thinking of shelling out some $ for the OEM air filter to see if that helps matters...worth a try?

I would like to know if does it matter when we change the 4wheel drive to 4wheel low or 4 wheel high and drive around town, will that damage the car? Do we put it on all 4 wheel drive? Somehow since my uncle change it 4 wheel low last month the car feels wierd and funny when driving it doesn't ride smooth. Can someone please help me on this, don't really know much about cars.

I recently bought a Mitsubishi Galant and I'm a little nervous about what I paid for it. The thing is I'm 22 and recently totalled my last car which left me in an emergency situation because apparently after a year of perfect car payments, banks were still hesitant to give me an auto loan without a co signer. So when I finally did it was at 25% APR from HSBC. I was told that the actual loan was for $8,800. But somewhere in the contract I saw a total amount of like $15,000 after 60 months. I can almost guarantee the car isn't worth anywhere near the total price I'm paying but that's to be expected that's how dealers rape you, especially in an emergency situation. The thing is, what is the best thing I can do since I'm not going to be keeping the car over a year anyway? I can handle being a little upside down but I am a smart consumer and would appreciate anyone's advice on what to do in the near future when I go to trade this thing in or whatever. Thanks.

The 1956 Chrysler 300B offered an optional 354 cubic inch engine with dual four-barrels that produced 355 hp, according to the Chrysler Petersen Source book

The 1956 Corvette offered an optional 265 cubic inch engine with dual four-barrels that produced "240 hp", but that Tom McCahill claimed in Mechanix Illustrated June 1956, p. 86 that it could produce 265 hp.

Which one was actually first, or was there another manufacturer who beat these two?

Is it true that it is illegal to change lanes under a traffic light?
I don't know why if it is. As long as you look it should be OK.

I owned three cars before getting my first SUV and I swear that I'll never buy a car again. I love my SUV and having 4wd and being higher on the road (can see better). Sometimes I do see a cute car and wonder how it would be to have a car again, but I get the thought out of my head quick, just knowing I'd regret it. I am actually looking for a bigger SUV now, it's like an addiction, lol. Just wondering if anyone has actually gone from SUV back to car, and how did that work out for you?
