The media hype has left a stigma on the Uninversal style Jeeps for a long time with roll-over scares and stability issues especially on pavement.

What are your experiences?

This is the first time this has ever happened, it will float between reverse and 2nd gear, but won't go into park. The four wheel drive is not in use, I can't think of another reason? The key also won't come out because I can only park it in neutral with the emergency brake.

I wana nice and clean look, with a little more aggressive tire and one that will take it up a notch from the stock Sahara tire on there now. I don't want a lift and don't want to create a messy ride. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Where should I look for the problem of a ground? the engine is grounded to the firewall and the engine is grounded to the frame via the motor mount.Do I need to run a ground wire from the cab to the frame, also? Also my overhead lights quit working and after hooking them up direct to the battery sparks flew.

I have noticed the "trail rated" badge on some of the 4X4's, but not all of them. Is there a difference?

Please be specific regarding Make, Model, and Features.
I have a Jeep website http://www.4-the-love-of-jeeps.com and although I am biased toward Jeeps, I would like to know what anyone thinks about other 4x4's as well as Jeeps.

I would appreciate if someone can help me. During my regular drive my transitions is in 2WD. Today, during snow, I switch from 2WD to 4WD (of course I was park during switching) and when I started my drive, I realize that something is wrong. While I was driving forward everything was normal. But when I turn first left then right I feel something similar that I use my break. Jeep was started to jump up and down, as I sad before, like I was pressing break pedal during my drive. At first moment I thought that something is wrong with steerwheel or my tires but there was nothing wrong with it. When I switch to 2WD again, everything was normal. Does anyone has any idea what happened with my Jeep today? Note: 20 days ago, I was driving in position 4WD normal, without any problems.
Thanks.

I drive a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and my engine has been knocking for the past few months. I've tried filling it up with the highest octane gas, but the knocking has recently returned. The knocking is not a ticking sound, but a higher pitched, pinging sound. The car has 199K miles on it, and is in fairly good condition.
Due to its age and its mileage, my Jeep is only worth about 2,000 dollars. Therefore, it isn't worth sending it to a dealer, having it repaired, and having to pay an expensive bill. I've tried changing the oil as well, but the engine still sporadically knocks, especially when the car is accelerating. Should I continue to drive the car regardless of the engine knocking, or is it time to buy a new car?

It is perpetually in 4WD and it wastes gas when there's no snow on the road. I'm wondering if there's something I can install.
