First off, when your fuel light comes on, GET GAS! There are several factors that will determine how much longer you may drive when the light is on. From my experiance, the average is about 20 miles. You would have to believe that the gas light is setup as a warning and will give you time. But the weather, speed, tire inflation and many more will account for the distance you can drive. And remember, your Jeep is fuel injected, so when your out, your out and stuck, not like the good old days of getting out and "rocking" the vehicle. So in short, dont push it, if you have gone 10 miles with the light on, I would stop with that, you never know.

I wouldn't expect there to be more than 1-2 gallons left in the tank when the light comes on. Depending on driving conditions, 15-30 miles.
Keep in mind that it is bad for your fuel pump to run that low on gas......the pump is cooled by the gas in the tank. The hotter it gets, the shorter the life of the pump.

you should be able to tell by using the trip computer on the roof or top of the screen above cent re console just use step button to select correct option this can tell you how many miles or kilometer you have left you can watch it go up and down depending how you drive had mine down to about 5 K's though dont recommend running low on fuel usually have to change filter afterward bit of a pain

And yet another person who insists on driving their fuel injected vehicle around below a quarter tank of fuel. Oh the repair shop is going to love you.
Stop driving your vehicle, refuel it before it goes below a quarter of a tank and save yourself a lot of money from buying new fuel pumps.
