I have a liberty, which is a capable little off roader, with a torquey little 3.7L engine, but its rubbish. endless recalls, worn out leather on the steering wheel, interior that stains when rain hits it, back hatch that sticks closed, wobly windows...i bought this pile new, and i will NEVER buy an american car, let alone a jeep again.

I have a 1995 Jeep Wrangler with 106,000 miles. Everything on the Jeep works flawlessly except for the shifting. I have the original clutch on it still, and when I try to shift, it seems like the gears are sticking. Its hard to get the stick into each gear. Not only that, I have to push far down with the clutch to change gears. On my 2000 Wrangler, I barely have to engage the clucth. Could my clutch be going out?

I installed a NEW starter in an 89 cherokee. I turn the key and not a sound from the starter. It seated properly and the 2 wires are tight. Is it possible for the teeth to be missaligned even though it seated, and wouldnt I at least hear it scream. Or is the solenoid my likely culprit.?
Thank you

I was teaching my friend how to drive stick so I put it in 4L so it would be easier to get the idea, and when we got going the jeep began to move back and forth as we drove, sort of like bucking us.

What the hell is up?
Is it cuz he wasnt steady enough on the gas pedal?
This only happened at low rpm.

The blinkers on my '05 jeep wrangler have quit working and I can't figure out why. I have already checked the bulbls and fuses and wires. My dad says that I might have blown a relay, but I can't find one for the blinkers, or flashers(hazard lights). Can some one please help me?

There is a light on the dashboard of my Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo (I just bought it used). What does this light do? It looks like a little red warning light of some sort but I have never seen this in any other vehicles. What is it?

Okay, here's the deal - I have a 2002 Jeep Wrangler with the 4.0 straight six banger. I maintain it regularly including changing the oil, plugs, etc. At 50,400 miles (2 days ago), the engine warning light (thing that is yellow and looks kinda like an engine with a flywheel at the rear?) came on. I checked the manual and do not find anything wrong with the engine: Oil level, tranny fluid, coolant, gas, belts, power steering fluid, gas cap, heck everything seem to check out okay. The gauges are all in their normal range during driving, from charging to oil pressure, to water temp. Anyone have an idea why the light is now coming (and staying) on???? Thanks in advance.

Im pretty sure it has something to do with the fuse box inside my car but im not sure which fuse it is..i've looked in the owners manual and of course they aren't gonna tell you how to deactivate it because its a "safety feature" yea yea yea..PLEASE HELP!!!

You can be driving down the road and it is time to shift gears and it might shift to neutral. Then it hangs up right there until you pump the clutch 4 or 5 times. Then it shifts like nothing is wrong. It will be a while before it does this again. You never know if you are going to be able to shift gears before you have to pump the clutch. Does anyone know what might be wrong? Is there a place for some kind of fluid that I might to need to fill?
