You need the entire engine control system from the Cherokee.

The 89 Wrangler still used the 4.2l 6-cylinder motor, that was equipped with a carburetor. The Cherokee motor which is a 4.0l is muti-port fuel injection.

If your Wrangler was a 4-cyl, you need to get the correct transmission bell housing also.

If the wrangler came with a 6 it will be easy, just save all of your original sensors. if it didnt come with a 6 you will be in for a small battle but it can still be done
