ok i have a 79 cj 7 soa 35x12.50 high pinion steering knuckles.. BUT BUT the stock power steeing is awful...
i am looking to do a comlpete swap with anything that will turn my big tire in the mud ..inthe sand ..and in the rocks have any idaes??????????/ i will go as far as swap everything and cut and weld the steering colum

Use hydraulic ram steering.

The AGR Rock Ram system is a great one.

You don't need to swap anything.
Just have your steering and hidro pump either rebuilt or replaced.
Remember that the hidraulic fluid HAS to be Hydraulic fluid, not ATF or anything else; and it has to be changed every 6 months because it's not for eternity.

Yes, I also have a CJ7, 84, with front locker and 35" x 12.5".
