my brother has an acura TL type s with everyting on it gps xm radio bluetooth etc... i want to get a similar car but one that is faster and more luxurious but around the same price which was about $38,000 with everything on it thanks for your help

The G35 is the only car that is close at that price. It has the advantage of RWD handling characteristics, but is probably not much faster, and not any more luxurious either. If you want a nicer, faster sedan, you'll have to pay more - it's that simple.
If you're willing to spend the extra cash - the previously mentioned 330i is worth considering, and also an M45 (has a V8).
If you're not willing to spend the extra and still want to keep it around 38k or less - consider a certified preowned BMW.

Acura is actually a "value leader" when it comes to luxury brands, because Honda is still trying to build up the brand vs. more established makers like BMW, Lexus, etc, so you're going to have a hard time finding something faster and nicer at a better price. As others have already mentioned, the Infiniti G35 is slightly cheaper and slightly more powerful, but it's arguable if it's any better.
My best advice? Stop trying to compete with your brother. $38k is too much money to blow on a car unless you're rich. Take half that money and put it in the bank or a retirement account. I guarantee you'll have the last laugh.

The G35 is a similar car, and may end up costing you a couple thousand less. Plus, it drives better in a lot of ways: more standard horsepower, RWD, cabin room, etc. If you want something a little faster and you're willing to shell out a few more grand, consider the BMW 335i. That car is underrated in power (states 300hp, but reports show it's putting down about 330.) It's got a twin-turbo system, great interior finish, and we all know how great of a driving experience BMWs offer.

properly an Acura is largely a Honda and a Lexus a Toyota so curiously like a BMW for you - that are junk. decide on the appropriate vehicle on your selection? stop demanding approximately what human beings think of and get a clean Camry. that's a no-brainer.
