The base timing is about 8 degrees or the second from the right pointer to mark on the crank I have set base as high as 15 degrees. Many L20b engines can handle more advance than that STOCK just don't exceed 30 to 35 degrees at 3,000 rpms or fuel can start to ping. Does this L-20 b have ingnition points? or the favored electronic ingnition?
