I own a shop, and the sensor is located on the (drivers) left side of the tail housing. Unplug the sensor (generator), and hook a volt/ohms meter to the terminals coming out of the sensor. Set your meter to the lowest setting on the AC side that you got. This should be mili-volts. Run the car with it in gear on some stands or lift, but be aware of getting yourself hurt by the drive-shaft, so stay clear of it. As the vehicle speed increases, you should see the meter rise along with the speed. If not; remove the sensor, put the vehicle in neutral with the engine off, and turn the drive-shaft while looking inside the hole the sensor came out of. You should see a metal tab pass for every revolution of the shaft. If not, the tail housing will have to come off to fix the problem. You can bench test the sensor by hooking the meter up as I said before, and pass a wrench by the magnet on the sensor back and forth real fast, and you should get a reading on the meter as you do this.
Glad to help out, Good Luck!!!
