Travel - 8 December 2006

I've heard of places you can pan for gold or dig for gems (diamonds & opals) in the Western US and am looking for places to go in the eastern US. Only thing I've found specifically is "Herkimer Diamonds" in New York state.
SO, I'm hoping some folks out there might know of other places I could find. THANKS!!!

I'm going to the philippines next year in Dec. I need to become fluent in tagalog by that time. Napaprakits ako na sa chat nalang. Ano pa ang gagawin ako? I want to write and speak tagalog as fluent as I can. Na bibili akong software, rosetta stone. atska bibli kong dictionario. parang bata ako na sulat en tagalog, and to speak it. but im trying to practice. my grammar is not correct, but i want to do it right. Personally I do as I am moving there next week and will be making the odd phone call home to Tassie (mum and dad) and hence it means I wont have to think so much if I am waking them up or not,,,also I like the idea of going for a walk after tea or washing the car at 7 pm........fishing even....so what do you all think about this, if you live in WA please feel free to comment about the good bad and the ugly you have found from it.....and do you think that WA will pass it as standard at the 2009 Referendom???
ah just to say I'm moving to Mandurah down right by the beach and sea.

Hi. I'm going to travel a lot from now on and would like to ask you guys if u have any ideas on what collection should i have. Like Hrad Rock cafe t-shirts from every country etc, etc. But I don't really like t-shirts, because they'll wear out. And not mugs, because they are heavy and break easily.

Any ideas?
