Once when travelling on the District Line, when a bunch of guys with guitars broke into a excellent rendition of Mrs Robinson by Simon and Garfunkel. Instantly the entire carrige was singing, humming, tapping and swaying in time with the song. (except from two Americans who stood with a scared look as if the whole world had suddenly gone mad, lol) When the song had finished everyone gave them a round of appaulse and they got off the train.

Has anyone had a fun or enjoyable experience on the tube? (or any other public transport)

My girlfriend is going to Tanzania in Jan, and I was thinking about getting her a pair of two-way talk radios for her and her mother (they are going together.) Manufacturer websites are saying that it depends on the terrain conditions. Does anyone know for sure weather or not an American Brand walkie-talkie style 2-way radios will work in Tanzania?

I'm going to be flying for the first time in less than a week, and I'm a little unsure about what the rules are for carrying on gels and liquids.
I looked at TSA's website and it said that if it's less than 3 oz, then it's okay. My question is with the quart-sized zip-top bags. Do you put every item that is a gel or liquid into a seperate bag? Or all in the same bag?
Also, if you have any tips on how to stay calm, that would be greatly appreciated, because I know I'm going to be freaking out when we take off.
And, if you have any other information you think I should know about in regards to rules to flying that you would share, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
