It all depends on the type of vacation you would ike to take...adventure? relax? or just tourism (getting to know different places)?

If it is adventure you are looking for, I recommend southern Mexico, especially Chiapas. You can ride kayaks in water rapids, for example.

It you are looking for two relaxing weeks, you may consider the Pacific coast of Mexico. Nuevo Vallarta and the beaches close to it are an inexpensive option.

If you want to know the culture, history, and the colonial architecture I strongly recommend central Mexico, Guanajuato, Queretaro, and Zacatecas. Their capitals have a lot to offer. The city of San Miguel de Allende in the state of Guanajuato is also a must.

If you are willing to go further south, my husband recommends Peru. You can fly directly to Lima. It is a beautiful city. After a couple of days there, you can travel south to Nasca, to fly over the famous Nasca lines, and then Arequipa, the white city. Close to Arequipa there is an impressive canyon where you can see condors. (Colca Canyon). After that, you may consider Titicaca. Seeing the "floating city" and how the locals go about is interesting. Lastly, he recommends Cusco. It is there where the Inca empire was found.

ps--If you do not like the cold weather, do not even consider Europe. I made the mistake last winter. brrrrr

Consider Trinidad in the Caribbean, Carnival 2007 happens in February...

Carnival is the festival that happens before the lenten season.

Party atmosphere which climaxes in two days of pomp pagentry and splendour on Carnival Monday and Tuesday when costume clad men, women and children parade through the street of the capital to calypso and soca music.

Costumes and all inclusive bands accept online orders... check out :

I agree. 50 levels is high quality. turn you warm water heater to trip if ideal. Leaving water significant on is high quality yet, residing interior the north if the ability did flow off by possibility counting on your heating equipment. a burst pipe working for 4 weeks isn't solid. perhaps you're able to get a chum to take a peek for you just to be secure. you could believe all would be high quality yet i could make certain a pair of times particularly if there is undesirable climate. have exciting on your trip

Vegas is always a good fairly inexpensive vacation. Temperatures should be mild in February.
