I recently accepted a job in DC and i plan on driving up there this weekend.I currently reside in Lithonia, which is off I-20.Since i live off I-20 i was told i can take I-20E to 95N.When I mapquest it says to take 85N.Which do you think is quicker? I was thinking since I'm already near Conyers, I can take the straight shot through SC.Opinions?

I was born in Atlanta on Ft. McPherson Army base. I still miss Atlanta very much. One of my favorite places is Stone Mountain. I loved the carrillon and the riverboat. The last time I was there was back in 1980. Has that area changed at all? Just curious.

in Atlanta? My boyfriend was arrested for DUI tonight and for having an open container but the container wasnt his. His friend was drinking it in the car and didn't get charged with anything. But does anyone here know what the maxium sentence is for a first DUI and can he plead not guilty for the open container since it wasn't his anyway?

I was looking at northeast Ga mountains for a vacation and found some great cabins in Ellijay, but it's further west than most other places I was looking. Is Ellijay actually in the mountains? Any other info would be helpful. Thanks.

I was reading an article on the internet the other night.
And I read that most of the houses were built on top of the cemeteries.I also read that a few years ago they found a body in a wall of the house.Can anyone tell me any of the history involving this town?
I think it is a beautiful town and I would love to vist one day.

My family is moving to somewhere between Carterville and Woodstock, GA. Where is a good extended stay where we could stay for a month while looking to see where we want to live?
