For example: The city of Powder Springs, GA. I believe that it is nestled in Cobb County, GA.

Is there a database or webpage that will furnish county names, if you were to input the city name and state?

Thanks, doods.

Preferably methodist...? All the ones we've had experiences with have bashed on gays and muslims, and coming from more liberal parts of the US it's been a big turn off. Any suggestions?

I just moved to Atlanta and live close to downtown. Does anyone know of great places to hang out other than what is on the tourism site? Also are there places I (a single woman) should avoid or that are not safe?
Thanks!

My husband and I are considering relocating to the South? Either FL or GA? We are a married couple in our mid- twenties with no children. We would like to relocate to a place that has a good job market, low cost of living and nice neighborhoods. We are considering Jacksonville and Tampa. Maybe, even GA some place outside of Atlanta. (Please Serious Replies)

How is the racism against whites in Atlanta, GA? I am considering moving there to become a police officer, but I do not want to be constantly "hated" because of being white, since the majority of Atlanta is African-American. I just hear rumours and would like some confirmation, before I decide on going there.

Yes, the land of John Rocker and good ole boys is certainly nowhere close to being a world class venue. Terrible weather, no culture, poorly designed infrastructure, dumb people ..oops, sorry, that probably defines the entire south. The only thing worse than the airport are the Braves. Do the socially inept fans actually still perform that demeaning Native American "chop"?
