it have palm trees and sand?? if not.. wat kind of soil is there? is it on the flood plain or is it in the hills?

hahaha im from augusta ga and currently live in orlando. NO augusta is not close enough to the beach for that. you wont find a palm tree there. mostly red clay - GA red clay. and a lot of normal fill dirt. nothing too fertile. not too many hills. i wouldnt call it a flood plain either, cause its not by any means all flat and we dont have flash floods at all - here and there where bridges were poorly constructed but never anything to worry about. any other questions please contact me, i grew up there and miss GA (sometimes) :o)

The 1st answer is excellent. I want to add, that I used to live in Augusta and it is a BEAUTIFUL, lovely city. See map at website below to see that it is NOT near the ocean. it is a great city with friendly people.

All you've got is red clay leading down to the Savannah River. There's no beach...just the country's 7th most polluted river.

And the red clay is terrible. It gets everywhere.

If I had any coastline sand, i does not enable it get away. it might trip at my abode continuously.
