Yes, the land of John Rocker and good ole boys is certainly nowhere close to being a world class venue. Terrible weather, no culture, poorly designed infrastructure, dumb people ..oops, sorry, that probably defines the entire south. The only thing worse than the airport are the Braves. Do the socially inept fans actually still perform that demeaning Native American "chop"?

I've been to Atlanta and liked it. It's people are nice, and you don't have that "deep South" attitude. However to answer your question...yes. They are a poor step child to any major city in the World, and they don't stack up well to many of the major US cities too. I have no plans on going back, but if I needed to I wouldn't be unhappy about it.

Let me guess, you're a yankee and you just don't get it. As for the whole south being uneducated, I bet you are one of those yankee who wears the Duke or UNC label but oh wait, those aren't in the south are they?? Because they wouldn't have wonderful universities there.
