Missy, There is no way to figure this out without knowing the mileage that your car gets. I do have a suggestion that will save you a lot of money and help with your planning. Seriously. Triple A, The Auto club costs about $40 to join and It's worth every penny and more. Not only will they plan your route and itinerary. They will help you "cost out" your entire trip. Including, gas, lodging, tourist attractions, etc. They provide free maps and directions and will give you a custom made map with your trip route highlighted on it.
I hate to sound like an advert. but I really think that this is one of the best services you can get. Most important. You will never have to go to the DMV again. You can do all your car registration chores at the AAA office. And they provide roadside service in case of breakdowns. The best money you can spend for a trip. The Seattle to Atlanta route is a great way to see the country. You are going to have a blast. Good luck with your travels and have a wonderful time.

Its a 2800 mile ride from Atlanta to Seattle. You will have to figure out the rest, but if you get 28 miles to the gallon, it will take 100 gallons of gas, at 2.96 a gallon its $296.00! Hope it helps.
