I just want some clarity as to how high the percentage of gays in atlanta are. A friend of mine says that she thinks every guy she meets is gay until otherwise found out; is that the way to go about things in the A. Suspect everyone; well not everyone but most?

The town has just 2,500 people in it. We have a lot of smaller town next to Piedmont as well.

I am searching for original oil paintings depicting fox hunting. Do you know of any great new artists or fantastic galleries which might carry this type of art? I love paintings of all of the horses and riders preparing for the hunt. I also love paintings of them jumping etc
Thank you so much,

Most hotels are either already booked or outrageously priced. Where is a good place to stay that is sort of near the action but will allow me to possibly get a decent price, i'm not too picky about where I stay for the one night and I will have my own car but don't plan on being able to drive it by then :) Thanx!

I lived in ATL for ten years and I've visited other cities such as NYC, Chicago, and Miami. Natives always like to hear what visitors think of their home city. Rate on a scale from 1-10 with 10 being the highest opinion please

I am considering moving to Atlanta. I'm a single parent and want to put my child in a good Elementary School. I want to live in a decent neighborhood of mixed cultures, but not too expensive. Also somewhere where the driving wouldnt be more than about 30 minutes to get to work if I worked somewhere in downtown or Midtown Atlanta. I don't mind living in the burbs as long as it is decent, considered fairly safe, close to schools, & shopping and not far from work (again if that ends up being somewhere in atlanta downtown or near there). I've never been to the ATL, so I would appreciate as much information as possible, including childcare references, etc. Recreation and sports activities such as basketball, swimming and other good community center information will also be helpful. If I can get some good information based on good areas to live, I'm sure I can do the research on the rec centers and childcare though.

Thank you

Is MARTA a good rail system? Do a lot of people use it? Is it fast and convenient for people? I was just wondering how it compares to other heavy rail systems in the US like SF or DC.
