The Big Chicken is a large abstractly chicken-shaped sign perched atop a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant in Marietta, GA at the corner of Roswell Rd and US-41 (Cobb Parkway).
The current Big Chicken is a reconstruction with the same shape as the original, which was severely damaged during a storm in the 1990s. Unlike the original, the beak opens and closes and the eyes roll around.
Of course, you could easily have found out all of this and more by typing "Big Chicken" into Yahoo! search and clicking the first result: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Chicken
To see pictures of both the original and current Big Chickens, look at this link http://www.roadsideamerica.com/attract/GAMARchicken.html The original is on the bottom, current on top.

It literally is a big chicken on top of a KFC in Marietta Ga.
It's at the intersection of Hwy 41 (Cobb Pkway) and Roswell Road.
It wasn't always a KFC, in the beginning it was actually a restaurant called Johnny Rebs.
It's mouth moves up and down, and the eyes swirl around.

The Big Chicken is the Kentucky Fried Chicken on Hwy 120. The beak opens and closes and the eyes twirl around....YOU CAN'T MISS IT! It's huge. That's why it's given as a Marietta landmark.

It is a big probably 60 ft tall chicken in Marrietta. It used to be a real landmark, but not so much anymore. Underneath it is a KFC restrarant.
It is mainly like a metal thing that used to have its beak open and close and its eyes move around. Mainly there to attract customers to the wonderful KFC.
