I liked the National Museum (free), the Tower of London, and my favorate was Westminster Abbey (you get to see all the dead royals). If you didn't get your fill of dead royals and you have the time then head out to Windsor Castle. I noticed a lot of folks said Windsor Castle. It was not as good as I had hoped but the Queen Anne's Doll House and the Chapel were cool.

I wouldn't miss:

The Tate Modern (a museum)
Harvey Nichols (like Neiman Marcus but trendier)
Speaker's Corner (they're funny as hell)

Also, Piccadilly Circus at night
