Employees that dress up like characteres and show their face (like Belle and Snow White), as opposed to being in a full costume that covers their face (like Pooh and Eeyore) are called "face characters". They earn around $8-13 per hour depending on how many years they've been working at the park. If they sing and dance in a show, they earn more.

He makes about $50,000 a year since he is working for a popular theme park. Lots of kids go to Disney Land/World every year so they want a happy person as Micky Mouse.

My sister is currently down in Orlando working at Disney, and she informs me that many of the characters are college students doing internships. Translation: they are not. I do believe that they are paid minium wage, but then they have to pay for the housing that's provided for them... so it evens out to nothing...

They do not make a lot. What they do get is a room at the park and their meals paid for. My nephew was Donald Duck for a year in Orlando. He had a great time even though he was told never to talk to anyone.
