Discrimination and its errors of logic! Why?

1. We are all equal, is a lie, we are all equal before God, or idealy, before the law, however we are not all equal.

2. We have been falsely taught that all discrimination is wrong. Some is logical and morally correct.

3. What happens to women only impacts women ?

Why are were these errors of logic allowed to proliferate themselves in our society ?

I've been noticing more appeals for Christian men to act more "manly" over the past ten years or so, and now it seems to be reaching a fever pitch. I just heard of this tonight. A literal "church for men"!

I would love to read what others, particularly practicing Christians, think of this phenomenon. I know it's been a while since I went to church, but what happened to "there is no male or female, no Jew or Greek, no slave or free..."?

I did some research on the mainstream religions for a paper due in my class. I became interested in the not so mainstream Christian sects. I did some research on Mormons and JW's and saw that named John Smith spoke to God and that the book of Mormon is actually credible.

Jehovah’s Witnesses had an even more laughable history, one of their prophecies were based on the study of pyramids by some man named Charles Russell. As the years went on, their prophesies changed a million times along with their doctrines. Their bible was made by people with no formal education in Greek. They added words just to make the scriptures fit their doctrines. Sadly they once banned organ transplants so people died for no reason because now they allow it. I can't believe some people could be so blind! I don't believe in any of the mainstream religions but heck that is really bad!

Truth is there is only one thing that atheists have in common - that is the belief that God does not exist.

There are no other 'rules' to being atheist. Some believe in science, some don't. Some believe in spirits, afterlives etc.

I am just sick of people saying, "atheists believe in science" or something to that effect, because you can't speak for all atheists because we all have widely varying beliefs.

Some of those with the most powerful testimony for Christ are those who were not raised as Christians, but who were instead led to God though an overwhelming experience in their life. I feel that there may be a number of non-believers who visit this forum seeking a reason to believe....people who are, perhaps, disillusioned by the mean-spirited sniping in so many posts. They may not be looking for explanations of doctrine, so much as an honest, personal explanation of how God works in people's lives.

So, please share your story....how did God get ahold of your heart?

When the abomination that maketh desolate sits in the high seat, we are to RUN to the mountains, because God has a hiding spot for us. Don't stop to even get a set of clothes or toothbrush, ect...
Just GO!!!
The Lord WILL take care of us !!! Even though the Devil (at that time it will be the Government ) comes after us, God will send a flood to elimate them...We will be safe. All really need to consider this and OBEY the WARNING . ( Matthew 24:15 )

if god created lucifer and lucifer tried to overtake god out of hatred or jealousy, does that mean god made a mistake when creating angels? Or just like humans did he create angels a certain way with 100% precision and a purpose with free will, if so then god would know some day one may turn and god would banish them to hell also knowing that one day the fallen angel would try to persuade us into his thinking. Then would that mean god created something that could turn evil on purpose to test us and our faith?

"Fifty studies were reviewed that surveyed opinions on teaching origins in public schools. The vast majority found about 90% of the public desired that both creation and evolution or creation only be taught in the public schools. About 90% of Americans consider themselves creationists of some form, and about half believe that God created humans in their present form within the past 10,000 years. In America, about 15% of high school teachers teach both evolution and creation, and close to 20% of high school science teachers and about 10,000 scientists (including more than 4,000 life scientists) reject both macroevolution and theistic evolution. Although the vast majority of Americans desire both creation and evolution taught in school, the evolutionary naturalism worldview dominates, revealing a major disparity between the population and the ruling élite." Jerry Bergman, Ph.D. Creation Ex Nihilo Technical Journal Vol. 13, No. 2

What does this say to you?

God says all has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God
Romans 3:23 and Phillipians 2:5 says your attitude should be like Christ Jesus. I agree with these principles with all my heart, my question than is this..........................

Why do I struggle with the same sin over and over and over and over I have a sin of saying bad words and I am so tired of it.

I also beleive that God cannot realease his heavenly blessings of using me mightily if I am an unclean vessell and I want to be an encourager4God.

How have you overcome the sin in your life and what would be your advice to me and to others who have habitual sin?

Thank you and God bless you this site has really helped me and continues to help me with my walk with the Lord.

Why hasn't the Bible been transmitted to us in perfect condition if it is so important and if God had his supernatural hand in it? Why did both Israel and the church add interpolations, emend, and conflate the texts?

80% of it is Hebrew scripture, with the rest the various Christian books of the New Testament. I read the Christian text all the time. The conventional view is,it's all Christian, but since the Jewish stuff was written before Christ that's obviously nonsense. So,granted, the O.T. makes for interesting reading, but serves no purpose unless you are Jewish. Why not just cut it loose, stick with our own scripture, stop trying to defend these old pre-Christian writings, just leave it to The Special Ones and get on with our own work?

John 6:66 says, "From this time many of his (Jesus') disciples turned back and no longer followed him." Wow! Do you think there's any significance that "666" is connected to a Bible verse indicating that MANY of Jesus' disciples turned away from him? Isn't this evidence that Jesus is in fact the antichrist?
