Heaven and Hell are places on Earth.
Heaven = The Virgin Islands.
Hell = Somalia or Iraq.

Yes, there is a Heaven. No one (in this life knows what it looks like).

Heaven is eternal life with God; communion of life and love with the Trinity and all the blessed.

Heaven is the state of supreme and definitive happiness, the goal of the deepest longings of humanity.

+ Heaven vs. Hell +

A parable:

A holy man was having a conversation with the Lord one day and said, "Lord, I would like to know what Heaven and Hell are like." The Lord led the holy man to two doors. He opened one of the doors and the holy man looked in. In the middle of the room was a large round table. In the middle of the table was a large pot of stew which smelled delicious and made the holy man's mouth water.

The people sitting around the table were thin and sickly. They appeared to be famished. They were holding spoons with very long handles that were strapped to their arms and each found it possible to reach into the pot of stew and take a spoonful, but because the handle was longer than their arms, they could not get the spoons back into their mouths. The holy man shuddered at the sight of their misery and suffering. The Lord said, "You have seen Hell."

They went to the next room and opened the door. It was exactly the same as the first one. There was the large round table with the large pot of stew which made the holy man's mouth water. The people were equipped with the same long-handled spoons, but here the people were well nourished and plump, laughing and talking.

The holy man said, "I don't understand."

"It is simple" said the Lord, "it requires but one skill. You see, they have learned to feed each other, while the greedy think only of themselves."

With love in Christ.

Hi heathboy27. When we look at what the Bible teaches about life in Heaven, we know first of all, we have been given Eternal Life. Outside of existing for all eternity, we do not know what the mechanics of Eternal Life is. Here on earth, we are conditioned to eat food and drink water to sustain these bodies of ours. But along with this, we also need oxygen to survive. Just because we "know" that we need these conditions to survive here, this does not mean that the same conditions will exist in Heaven.

If we have been given Eternal Life, why would we need to eat or drink? None of us know what Eternal Life will be like. What we do know is what we will be doing there, worshiping our God and doing His will. That will be glorious.

I can't really explain how Heaven looks because nothing on this earth is worthy to compare with Heaven.

Sorry.

Gold gate, palm tree to right, waterfall straight ahead, brick sidewalk/path going two different ways. Jesus to the left playing chess. God to right, always seemily talking to one certain person.

(View from when just entering heaven)
