In Deer Cave in Borneo, guano from millions of bats accumulates a few millimeters a year. It is now 100 meters high. At 500 years per meter, bats had to have inhabiting the cave for at least 50,000 years - 5 to 10x longer than Creationists believe the Earth (or at least all the life on it) has existed.

What's up with that? Did God leave us a big pile of s*** just to test our faith?!

God doesn't mind if at the same time I called him Allah, Yahve or Vishnou... the most important to honor His name is not to kill, not to lie, not to thief... what do you think about it ? I am not speaking of a new religion, I am speaking of being at the same time muslim and jew, or protestant and hinduist...

I have read many of Brian's books (NB:Not all), however there was something I wanted to find in his books, but didn't.

My Question is: Were/Can Schizophrenic patients (be) wholly healed when undergoing past life regression in hypnosis?? Has it been tried? Did Brian Weiss speak anything of the relation of Schizophrenia with past life regression he was practising?? And if not Weiss, maybe some other profssionals?!?

I would appreciate if you could give me some reachable information where further investigation could be made.

OK plain and simple !

there is the 10 thy shall not break- right.

Now i dont belive they should all be a synn. ok this is my oppinion i feel that ANYTHING u do that ur consience dosen't feel right then its bad.

see in my case if i see a hungry kid and i got food but i dont give him any then i will feel really really BAD!

If i steel money from a bumb that really needs it or a guy who is struggling with money and i take it to be mean... lol.
I will feel like crap again and guess what my consience again will be killing me WHY cuz i know i did something bad.

Ok but what if u dont got a consience (some special needed people dont)does that mean that nothing u do is evil?
ok maybe not cuz they can't react to it right but point being is that evil is evil and good is good..

NO rules commandments nothing u know what u do is right and u know what u do is wrong.!

Genesis 5:27 says that Methuselah lived 969 years.

Honestly now ... do you believe this? What do you think his family gave him for his 762nd birthday? Surely he had enough neckties and cologne.

mine is psalm 23
1: The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want;
2: he makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters;
3: he restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4: Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil; for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.
5: Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies; thou anointest my head with oil, my cup overflows.
6: Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

And what does it mean to you, this one tells me to not fear evil or death that god is protecting me

Do you carry insurance? Why do you think you need it? Don't you believe what the Bible says? Is a promise from God not good enough for you?

It seems that many Americans are disturbed by nudity even if it is not erotic in nature.

The Janet Jackson "wardrobe malfunction" got major media attention and complaints to the FCC (even though her nipple was the only part of her body exposed), movies with nudity but little violence are often rated "R" while movies with violence but no nudity are often rated "PG-13", to go nude in public is to risk a ticket or jail (depending on the jurisdiction),some beach cities have very detailed laws regarding swimsuits, and some organizations such as the American Decency Association seem offended by nudity regardless of the context.

Are Americans truly offended by nudity or is a vocal minority making the the rules and complaints about nudity? Why is nudity so offensive to some people? Is the human body offensive?

If our lives on Earth are to be cherished, then why doesn't god visit ever generation? A perfect being acting imperfectly is not very god-like.

The Bible tells us that the Israelites wandered in the Sinai desert for 40 years, and that most of them died there (Numbers 14:20-24). Using the census numbers from Exodus and Numbers, that means that approximately two million people died in 40 years in a relatively small area (and we know where it is). Are you aware that there is absolutely no archaeological evidence of those people having been in this part of the world? How do you explain this?

If you think about it, does any religion REALLY explain how the universe and mankind came to be? As far as I can tell, all religion can tell you is that the universe was created by a superbeing. But what does that even mean? Is it me, or are statements like that entirely devoid of content? Essentially all that says is that something caused the universe to exist. But the interesting question (to me at least) is HOW that process of coming into being took place.

What are other people's thoughts on this?

MaryBridget

to say that you're a Jew and then that you believe in Jesus makes you a liar. .

Ok Isaiah said "He will be born to a young maiden a miracle birth and be God with us ( do not give me the lie about her not being a virgin-where would the miracle be anyone can have a baby! the word used is Almah= pure virgin young maiden, Bethulah in Joel 1;9 is a past married woman living as a virgin)

"Unto us a child is born, a Son is given and he will be almighty God, the prince of peace."
Who else would you say our Jewish Messiah is than Jesus???

"He will be made very high, but first will suffer more than any man, He will be despised and rejected, and lay down his life as a lamb to make atonement for our sins. He will die with the wicked and be burried with the rich."
am I lying -who but Jesus fulfills this prophecy from 700 bce-do not tell me Israel -that would mean we despised ourself died guilty for our guilt with the wicked ???

I believe Isaiah-did Isaiah lie???
