I was brought up Christian (Anglican) then I turned away and professed to be an atheist (but always knew God was there), then got into some 'new age' stuff which is really old age, then came back to church. After a few years of going to church I dedicated my life to Christ and am a firmly convicted Christian.

You did not find islam, you were led to the true religion by the grace of GOD. Take that as a mighty blessing. I am a revert of 5 years now, and know that it is only Allah whom can guide. I used to be agnostic when I thought atheist. it was not that I did not believe in GOD, but never gave it thought till HE proved it is something one should really give thought to alhumdulillah. Islam has reverts from many religions, cultures, beliefs, etc that makes islam that much more beautifull. The variety of individuals that all worship the one true GOD. The stories that muslims can tell you are very interesting. Whether born muslim or reverts. A muslim is a muslim. Salaam bro!

I once was a Dianic witch and dedicated myself to the goddess Artemis. I did magick spells and brought tons of books on witchcraft. This occurred for about 5 years of my life until this January when I became a Muslim.
Email me if you want to talk!

Edit:
The guy below me is funny! Lol. I was raised in a Christian household and it is very possible for people to reject their teachings. Take me for example.

This full page is stupid propaganda, Muslims saying they are Christians converses, a Christian, real one believes in the opposite of a Muslim, a person relate with saints and angels will not suport blood, vengeance, mutilations and the women degradation...cause my mother is a woman, the concept of love and marriage in Chrisitanis is also oposed 100 percent.. as a Christian you have to put the interest of our woman always first than ours, the deep knowledge about Christian MAgic is beatiful, mistic and wonderful and amazinly deep after this very special and deazingly deep, thebeliefs of Islam looks like stunning Ignorance, so DON´T COME WITH FAKED PROPAGANDA YOU MUSLIMS SAYING OHHH, I WAS A CHRISTIAN AND I FOUND SUCH A NICE PATH IN ISLAM...nobody believs you...ARE OPOSSED PATHS, you muslims are stucked in the Century 7 and to want keep on living there is amazinly stupid. YOUR SUBMISSION DON´T LET YOU EVOLVE EVEN IN YOUR OWN IDEAS.

I'm glad you've found what's right for you though.

Congratulations, Islam is the logical, evidence-based, universal, comprehensive, preserved, natural, religion and way of life of the One and Only true God "Allah". Should I say more?

I am a Muslim, and I want to thank you for converting to Islam. Like this, you have saved yourself from Hell, and if you are good, you might enter Heaven, if God wills. Some people at my school have parents who have done just like you, and I know only two of them (maybe more).
