Yes, God meets all my needs. But he also gave me brain because to think. He also expects me to help myself. The words in the Bible should not be taken literally. Ask the Holy Spirit first to guide and help you understand the word of God before you open it and you will know what God wants you to do.
Peace and every blessing!

No, I don't believe what the bible says. And a promise from a non-existent god doesn't make any sense at all.
But I'll make a promise to you. If you raise a dead person who has been dead for more than a week, or can walk on water, or move a mountain, or turn water into wine, or cause the day to turn to night, all of which is promised or claimed to have been done in the bible, then i will sell everything I own and join your religion.
If you can't do any of the stuff, then I am assuming you don't totally believe in God's word either.

Tell God to pop into physical existence and make the promise in person, because frankly I'm not buying the books!
Especially as he would be the ultimate insurance salesman (the soul), I'd have to verify his claims.

If you misinterpret the verse to mean that, then yes. Paul is talking about spiritual abundance and the riches of grace. You cut off the end of the verse. Of course it has a different meaning without "according to the riches of glory by Christ Jesus."

I don't trust promises made by a Christian deity. He keeps breaking them all over the place in that Bible thingy.

Not ALL your needs, just the ones that matter:
food, water, shelter, and security.
You don't really need anything else. I know, I know, liberals have fooled you into thinking you need all sorts of other things, and you actually have the right to demand them from your law makers, but they're weak. They actually NEED for others to take care of them because they don't know how to take care of themselves.
No wonder most of them are on welfare!

the verse continues, according to his riches in Christ Jesus.
This verse is not just talking about 'things' here!
God has given us enough common sense to be wise.
