Similar to my previous question that was directed at Atheists, I would like to ask any Jewish people here whether Jesus Christ is mentioned in the Torah at all?

I'm asking because some people told me that the Torah is completely different from the Holy Bible of Christians.

Thanks

I was troubled with problems. I forgot to smile and would not go out of the house. But my brother and his wife took me to the beach in Boracay for a week. He paid all expenses, and the hotel and food was free. The owner was his wife's sister-in-law. It was the most beautiful place on earth. I feel ashamed to be so sad. I had the sand, the beautiful nice people, food, sea. There is no way I can stay sad. I had no right to be sad because I am in the most beautiful place on earth.

This new drug has the potential to indirectly free up restrictions on stem cell research, genetic engineering and remove the confusion that religion causes in science classes around the world.

Ok, why do people assume I am red skinned and living in an islamic society because I'm muslim? I am half Irish half German and my family has been born and raised in the US for the past 100 years. I am speaking out as a muslim and being persistant because nobody wants to hear it. People are claiming we don't speak out. Well, I have posted many questions, but they act like it never happened and cry about it again. We as muslims speak out. I have at least 40 people from this board backing me and saying the same. We know the truth, and we are not about to run. Here is a link to where hundreds of muslims condemn terrorism, most of them leaders.

One of the really common things that comes back in questions about evolution is "if we evolved from monkeys, why are monkeys still here?".

This shows an extremely poor understanding of evolution.

Do they not realise that we share common ancestory with monkeys and apes and that we didn't come from any existing species?

Also, evolution dosn't nessecarily dictate that the original species gets wiped out. Natural selection can lead to different changes in different regions. In one region, the original species may still be the one with the best chance of survival. Ultimately a range of species that evolved from the original may end up occupying the same region.

Why do they criticise when they don't even understand these basic fundamentals?

when 9/11 happened muslims all over the world we happy and came out to the streets in thousands even in western countries and celebrated. muslim children even in western schools were all celebrating. i suppose they took the western notion of tolerance too lightly, and when western nations started cracking down on muslim thugs suddenly all these thousands of muslims in western countries who were celebrating over 9/11 became quiet.
and now they say muslims are all saddened over terrorism
why so much hypocracy?

You all know me as a Proud muslim, and I am. How can you say that none speak out when this one is and so many others? Are you blinded by hatred? This isn't to all of you. This is to those who are too deep in hatred and ignorance to rationally think.

British Muslims, along with everyone else, are watching events in America with shock and horror, says a statement from the Muslim Council of Britain (MCB).
Whoever is responsible for these dreadful, wanton attacks, we condemn them utterly. These are senseless and evil acts that appal all people of conscience. The MCB stands shoulder to shoulder with remarks made by our Prime Minister Tony Blair. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the innocent victims, their families and communities. We convey our deepest sympathies to President Bush and the people of America. No cause can justify this carnage. We hope those responsible will swiftly be brought to justice for their uncons

During Friday prayers Muslim clerics in the Arab world have strongly condemned Tuesday's attacks in America.

It's not courage in any way to kill an innocent person, or to kill thousands of people, including men and women and children

Sheik Mohammed Sayed Tantawi
Syria's most senior Islamic leader described the attacks on America as a terrorist act, as ignoble as what he called the state terrorism practised by Israel.

Hundreds of Palestinians also rallied in the West Bank city of Ramallah to show support for Americans killed in the attacks, as well as condemn Israeli killing of Palestinians in Jenin.

And in Iran, Tehran's main football stadium observed an unprecedented minute's silence in sympathy with the victims.

'State terrorism'

Iran's Ayatollah Imami Kashani spoke of a catastrophic act of terrorism which could only be condemned by all Muslims, adding the whole world should mobilise against terrorism.

What I ascertain.....
Why harrass Christian? and Others?
I see this happening alot.

If you don't believe in these religions, and don't want nothing to do with God, and you don't want to change, then why harrass the God believers. Why are you here??
We believe there is a God, he is Real, I don't need proof....I know. You think I'm wrong, and I know your wrong.

Perhaps you do want someone to proof to you that there is a God, so then you'll jump for joy and join a religion group.

Lets see if Atheist can answer this question.
