I tend to think more along the lines of the proverb - "Life is one long nightmare, in which I cannot awaken."

In the traditional sense you can seperate dreams from reality, but in the end, everyone uses dreams to find meaning in their lives, so they aren't all that dissimilar from each other.

Dreaming is real, we all dream all the time and our dreaming can colour our world ugly or beautiful. Understand your real life situation so you can take appropriate action but enjoy your dreams.

Religion is an unreal system of enforced belief in somebody else's dream... usually for their benefit or the benefit of the organisation pushing it.
