Technological advancement is like a wheel rolling along a narrow track – once the wheel has started rolling, it can’t be stopped. The diameter of the wheel keeps growing as our technology increases. Anything that retards the wheels advancement risks causing irrevocable death wobbles.

By its inherent nature, religion retards advancement of any kind. When I think of how much religion has hindered our progression throughout history and how much it still infuriatingly continues to do, it brings a tear to my eye.

The dating of rocks by radioactive decay and fossils is fundamental to oil exploration.
Every petroleum exploration program expends large amounts of risk capital dating rocks to discover new oil fields. Creation "Science" say such dating methods are fataly flawed.
If creation "science" is correct then such discoverys are accidental.

Why do petroleum companies spend huge amounts of money
dating these rocks if such techniques are wrong?

Why is there no creation "science" oil company using creation "science" to find petroleum?

I'm a Muslim, I switch on the TV and I saw the muslim terrorists bombing something. And then the whole world starts throwing insults and such to us, regardless the fact that that those responsible aren't really living up to the Islamic teachings.

Read the book: "Allah(God) is kind, Allah is compassionate, Allah is merciful." It goes on and on that way, page after page. But, no, some bastards have to come along and revive this stupid holy-war crap just to further their own hateful agenda. So now, everybody thinks Muslims are all murderous barbarians. Thanks, Taliban: 1,000 years of pan-Islamic cultural progress down the drain.

So I go online, to try to clear the misunderstandings regarding Islam and promote interfaith harmony. But suddenly there's a couple of muslims here go misquoting the bible, insult non-muslims and so on. Thanks Punter, all my effort in trying to gain interfaith harmony goes down the gutter.

If God made Adam and Eve to populate the Earth, how could they do it?? I mean, for example, Adam and Eve had um.. let's say 5 kids, both boys and girls. What then? A brother and a sister having babies? I don't think so. Today, when a brother and a sister, or a mother and a son... have babies, its almost always born with 3 legs, 1 eye..... Explain, please....

Life has totaly turned to be different from how I have been expecting, it would be on my side. Mysteriouse things happen to me one after the other! I have prayed and still continue praying as I believe my God is able. But this time friend I'm afraid, things happen miraculousely but contrary from the best I have expected. The results of my prayers scares. Although at times I always remember a verse in the bible which gives some kinds of wornings and strengthto anyone who can read it as "Revealation 3: 1-6, ps. 27:4-5, Jer. 29:11. So brethren I need your piece of advice which shall return me to God's shadow Coz I know HE loves me but only wants to correct me. So what is the best way or method to surrender all to God so that HE trully forgives me! I've dully tried the once I know but in vain! HIS strokes are so painful. Help me even praying over all hardship time I'm undergoing & we'll blessed.

Please seriouseness will let me get the best and a challenging answer. GOD Bless

and people here in Iraq seem to think the koran can be used to justify sick behaviour, like stoning, etc..., when will they grow up and realize we as humans have mentally evolved and don't partake in such barberic practices anymore. We believe in Djins(demons) like the one that spoke to muhammed(pork bacon underwear ham). These old babylonian djins have not left the area, what really go on in the mosques is something u'll never believe, so i'll tell u, old babylonian rituals, blood sacrifice, conspiring against world governments,muslim religious leaders in contact and in business with the Pope, this is insane....

It would seem that Jesus made it very clear that Christians should not be wealthy - 'blessed are the poor'... 'woe to you who are rich' ....'it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven' etc. I was wondering how Christians who have expensive holidays, nice cars, luxury homes, children who have 'everything' justify it all in the light of the suffering in the world. Suffering that could be alleviated by individuals doing what Jesus told them to do, not just sending 50 quid off to Comic Relief to make them feel better.

If there is a God, why did he create Man? Such an Omnipotent being, such power; what need does he have for Man-kind? Why would he create a Universe with no intention of interacting with it. Maybe I'm just blind. I mean I haven't read the Bible, I dont go to church. I'm not religious at all. But IF there is a God, why?
