I'm not religious but i know a lot about religions
First, lets Call him God because most people won't understand the meaning of the Arabic word Allah
It says in the, Qur'an, the Muslim holly book that God promises paradise to the believers in levels (depends on your deeds). and hell fire to nonbelievers, but after giving those who knows nothing about Islam a second chance in the hereafter.
For knowledge purposes:
The Arabic word Allah : Allaho : Al Laho which means To Him which means Everything belongs to him (the creator)
but the word Elah : Lelah : means everything will return to Him

whoeva obeys Allah swt will be granted paradise n if u mean "atheist" like he/she doesnt believe in Allah den he/she will get punished 4 dat but den granting forgiveness is only in the hands of Allah, he may wanna forgive tht person if He wants.
