If there is a God, why did he create Man? Such an Omnipotent being, such power; what need does he have for Man-kind? Why would he create a Universe with no intention of interacting with it. Maybe I'm just blind. I mean I haven't read the Bible, I dont go to church. I'm not religious at all. But IF there is a God, why?

For all concerned with free will. I'm not saying that he alter our lives forcefully. I'm saying interact in a manner that would just give him a visual form. I'm not talking about "God's wrath" in the sense of nature, I'm talking about maybe show Himself to answer questions. Maybe appear once a year in a Temple or something. If He would ever try to forcefully manipulate someone or there will, then thats only showing God-like powers. A God should have no concern over what happens on the Earth as far as, stopping terrorism, destruction of Earth, anything. If Eath is destroyed and He created the first one, He can creat a Second one or a third one. Theres no telling if He's done it before. Before I get carried away, My point is, I'm not saying interact in a forcefull or manipulative way, just something to show face.

How do you know he isn't interacting with the iniverse of mankind?
I believe he is interacting with us on a time scale that we have no concept of (smaller than the seconds we have so far discovered)
He does this through the Holy spirit, peoples prayers, angels as messengers, Christ to mediate on our behalf, the list goes on.
Find a bible read Job 8 (pay particular to verses 5-6), ask God to guide you, you might actually gain an answer ot your question this way and there are many others like this all the way through the bible. Start using the promises as they were intended to be used and watch as God works in Your life, but only you can choose to do this.

God of the Holy Bible did show his face as the (Son Of Man) Jesus Christ. He taught the truth, and cleared up the misconceptions of the Old Testament. You can learn about all of this by reading the New Testament in the Holy Bible. It would probably take less than 15 hours to read it in a conceivable speed from cover to cover.
If anyone says the New Testament isn't true then I would guess they don't believe any documented history true.
If they do believe the documented history of the New Testament, then how can they possibly dispute the Old Testament? Jesus refers to it continuously.

Your question is really deep and I can't pretend to give a satisfactory answer to it. My only suggestion is that if you want to find out about the true God, you will find few answers in the Hebrew Bible. The Hebrew Bible is a collection of stories written by simple men that are highly improbable and untrustworthy. Discover a criteria by which you can discern truth, and use that criteria to judge every idea, opinion, and belief you encounter; and then maybe along the way you'll find God.

God created man because He is the perfector of relationships. God wants to be in a relationship with us. I wonder sometimes too why God created man as we always seem to do what He doesn't want us to do. But God wanted people. He wanted to share His love and to be loved back. Not because we were made to, but because we choose to.
And God is going to return one day...that could be any day...and when He does we will be with Him for all eternity and there will be no separation ever again. God does not reveal Himself now because too many people only believe what they see instead of believing without seeing.
If you can believe in God without seeing Him, that is when you will see Him...and you won't even have to be in Heaven for that one.

as you were saying, referring to yourself, about not reading the bible, and being "blind" you should try reading the bible, not once, not in part, try gettting through it, not all at once either, it is not that kind of book, as you will discover, and there are parts of it you will want to read more than others,,,,
that is right, God does not have to cater to any of us, He owes us nothing, but" He does not desire the death of the wicked, and the sinner but that we should turn from our sinfu ways and serve and worship God" , so what do you see this scripture to be telling everyone, that God has purpose for us, His children and those that chose to serve and worship Him, make sense?

God created many kinds before man kind, all are forced to worship God, only mankind can choose to worship God or not, and God needs human to worship God by his own will, not forced.

we learn something new each and every day, this is the only thing that every living person has in common with everyone else, to learn is to grow, I believe that is the point of our lives here on earth, to learn and grow

Bible says he created Man to rule the World, to be similar to God... It's a very wise answer. Actually, men create God... to feel we're not alone... to feel there is something after you die...

a god cant be considered or labeled as a god unless it created something
and the reason i think god doesnt interfere with our lives is because... 1. it would interfere with our free will. 2. if god did there would be no need for faith 3. god may simply just want to watch the show. 4. maybe god cant.
