Why do people answer questions with quotes from the Bible? God gave you an opinion and a voice, don't you think he wants you to use it?

The Bible says that if your faith is as small as a mustard seed you could move a mountain. I guess the atheists won't be lifting any rocks then.

So many Christian churches are still using the name EASTER SUNDAY, and hiding painted eggs and candy bunnies around the church for children in fun? Many church members know this is not appropriate but say nothing. Have you approached your Pastor? Why or why not? What was the outcome? If not, is it because of fear? Do you believe a christian should fear human opinion above fear of the Lord?

Tonight was the last night of this particular outreach, and we saw 40 people accept Christ. That is 375 people in three days. PRAISE GOD!!!!!!

ISn't it true, that unles you repent, God is in enmity with that person, unless of course He accepts Christ's atoning blood.

Then where do you think did Charismatics ever get the notion that, "God hates the sin , but loves the sinner"?

I mean unrepentants cannot receive grace unless they resist God's sacrifice....

where do you think the ancient egyptions went? They all believed in their gods as hard as you guys do and eternal paradise or the other option; cease to exist.

Also why should the body be wrapped in three white sheets instead of one? And is there any symbolism behind the colour white?
NOTE: I am looking for the symbolism behind these actions, not just because this was done when the Prophet was buried.
And if possible please provide a source.

I myself am an independent thinker (though I am very close to liberal), but I am feel that I am also forced to live independently from the society...lol

It looks like most people I meet or talk to seem to be predominantly from two sides - either very liberal or very conservative. I myself am finding it very difficult to make good friends with people, because I tend to disagree with some of their beliefs - irrespective of whether they are liberal or conservative. So, if I have to make friends with people, I am forced to "act" as liberal or act as conservative around such people. I simply haven't found any such person whom I can be real, good friends with.

How do you feel about this?

As a Pagan, I am sometimes told by Atheists, "[Insert god here] does not exist."

For example, recently one just told me Pan does not exist.

Now, many Christians, and some Muslims would have taken offense to that [if it was their deity]. Why did I make a joke about it, and not worry about someone having a different view?
