Iam not gonna make this a religion debate but , Has anyone else been getting anti religion spams in their myspaces and personal boxes on registered forums? I hardly see the the relation of video games (forum) and god. I dont care for athiestic Ideals and Iam never going to "change my mind". If your athiest IAm not gonna bite ya, but this is ridiculous. I have been pecked at for being a christian for the past week with spams all over and the only "on the soap box statements" I have made is on yahoo answeres. Why would an athiest even bother to go to the extent of harrassing people. They are the ones wasting their lives. Has this happen to anyone else. I have had some group of violent people threaten me before at a com college.Athiests (iam not singling you out i simply want to understand) why would someone whos athiest crave so much violence against unprovoked christians. normally i hear athiests making the counter claim. Thes is my first noght this week without the spam.

this thing i have specially noticed in the R&S section here
people tend to make up question like 'why do we live'
or 'what is the aim of our life'......this is a very simple question to me,i clearly dont get why should this be so complex for some people....

while some of them are always analysing religion!
religion is not science after all....
religion is something which gives ur state of mind peace when u are feeling most let-down n unhappy:it has a god because we need to feel that someone in this world cares for us n loves us when we are so lonely
the myths on which they have been built just add to the beauty of religion, then why do u all people go digging about scientific facts like i see some stupid questions 'why was mary a virgin?'

why question myths?
religion has been built to solve problems,to render our minds in such a state as we may always take the right path,not to complicate our troubles!

Gheese, if I read one more question asking why JW's do this and that I'm going to scream. I'm starting to think JWs are asking these questions themselves, and then answering them to draw attention to themselves. I wouldn't put it past them.

Any Christian who has an understanding of scripture knows their religion is full of distortions and errors. That's why they spend 99.9% of their time on here, and everywhere else debating their beliefs. Jesus never debated with anyone, he laid truth on the table, and you either took it or you didn't.

I'm more interested in why true Christians are even concerned with what JW's think? Put them in the category of false prophets, heretics, and atheists, give it up to God, and call it a day. They do what they do to get all this attention so they can later scream "we're persecuted", "we're the true religion" yadda, yadda, yadda. We've heard it before.

So my question is why ask them anything, if they don't speak for God, or teach truth?

How many Jewish or Muslim groups are out their advocating teaching Intelligent design (creationalism)

How many non religious groups are advocating it?

Dosent this mean that these groups are basicly advocating that public schools teach their religious philosophy in a science class?

Most all conflicts in the world have Muslims on one side, and many times on both sides. So how can They claim this to be a peaceful religion. Christians are at war, but not a Christian war. When Muslims are at war is a Muslim war.

I know im not a BAD person, but it cant be helpful to me being catholic and not going.

when i was littl(er), (im 13 now), my family used to go to church... every other week or so. then is started lessening and lessening. now we barely ever go. my sister is in college, she lives at home though, and my brother isnt exactly enthusiastic about anything. ANYthing. i wouldnt really mind going to church more often, though, it is kinda boring.. anyway. we didnt even go to church last christmas. i feel like im not even catholic, i go to a religion class every tuesday though.

i dont know what my question exactly is... i need some.. cheering up? maybe the real reason what makes you catholic besides going to church, even though it is a big part to every religion.

When did that change and why? They had to kill a perfect lamb or other such animal for a sacrifice and there were specific instructions on the whole thing. But it's not practiced today. I know Christians look to Jesus as the last blood sacrifice and the animals were just a "picture" of His death for our atonement. But, the Jews didn't recognize Him as Messiah, Saviour so why aren't they still sacrificing animals for atonement?

Christian base their beliefs on faith, and a personal relationship.
atheist base their beliefs on logic, and science.
neither is going to be convinced by the argument.
it is like children playing rock, scissors, paper. each has their point.

there are intelligent, educated Christian.
there are intelligent, educated Atheist.
and I have seen misconceptions on both sides.

neither side will ever win, because neither side will be able to convince the other.

the only proof a Christians needs is a relationship with God.
and until the Atheist has a relationship with God, they will never be convinced.
