I like it! "Forcing someone to marry you" is a cure for adultery!
Amazing logic!
Keep at it, everyone.
I'll be back after my late night workout.

Go,” God commanded Hosea, “take to yourself a wife of fornication and children of fornication, because by fornication the land positively turns from following Jehovah.” (Hosea 1:2)
The very spirit of fornication has caused [the people of the ten-tribe kingdom]
As to the men, it is with the harlots that they get off to themselves, and with the female temple prostitutes that they sacrifice.”—Hosea 4:12-14.
Fornication was rampant in Israel in both a physical and a spiritual sense
Jehovah would therefore hold “an accounting” against the Israelites. (Hosea 1:4; 4:9)
like in bible times in israel........This warning has significance for us because Jehovah will hold an accounting against those practicing immorality and engaging in unclean worship today
But those walking with God meet his standards for clean worship and are aware that “no fornicator . . . has any inheritance in the kingdom of the Christ and of God.”—Ephesians 5:5; James 1:27.

The book of Hosea is a beautiful book of love and forgiveness within a marriage. The marriage of Hosea and Gomer is a story to reflect the relationship between God and Israel. Hosea uses his pain to illustrate the pain of God when we refuse Him our love.

Hosea 1 is a comparison with the nation of Israel; after worshipping false gods, God would accept Israel back if the people would repent. God never totally abandoned Israel even when the people did wrong.

Adultery is immoral and wrong because it hurts the significant other. I don't think religion has to tell me that.
But however, it can be tolerated under special circumstances, i.e. when there is severe abuse involved in the relationship & if victim is involved in the affair & the victim has no way out of the relationship at that moment.

In some parts of the bible like Leviticus, god orders stoning for adulterers.
Yet another reason I don't use the bible as a source of morality.

Adultery is the only way you can remain sane when you have to deal with a wife who doesnt even follow the bible and nags at her husband instead of obeying and serving him.

No, it is not accepted by God!
No sin is accepted by God.
The person who sinned must repent of his sins.
God asked Hosea to go take a "wife" unto him ......God didn't say, go and commit adultery.
