How narrow minded is a person who judges everyone for having a thing called faith? When you chose to believe something...you typically question it BEFORE you believe it. When you go to an ice cream shop you don't buy a flavor and then say "now which flavor do I want". It's a good thing to research your beliefs and no more about them...but once you believe something you've gotta stick to it. You can't always be switching around back and forth doubting and believing. If you don't believe it then it's not a belief.

Very narrowminded. But it is understandable because a person forms his beliefs and opinions based on what he/she was taught or heard about. And most of the times, the person has deep love for those beliefs. So, if the person has to question his/her beliefs, there is an anxiety or fear that props up that those beliefs may be wrong & invariably he/she will have to forsake them.
In short, what I basically mean is that this person is afraid of the associated anxiety or fear that may prop upon questioning his/her own beliefs.

Almost every person does question their faith. But there comes a point in your life which you choose to believe or not believe and I choose to believe and not question it anymore. That is not to say sometimes when things are going wrong in my life that I don't wonder how God will make something good out of things that are bad but so far HE has never let me down.

Oh yes, I do question. In fact I question it all the time. Sometime I do research! I do not go for blind faith! and so far I find that Islam is the most logical one. Right now I am studying the bible. Reading on all possible website. I compare the Quran and the bible at times. I define all surah and hadith and see if it is relevant. I defined it to few possible ways and and ensure it suit to today lifestyle. If not I will question it again and again and engaged in a debate with the book people.

A person who doesn't question his beliefs is afraid his faith is too weak to hold up under serious questions. Too bad, too, because out of great questions comes even greater faith.
I have to add my voice...when was the last time YOU questioned YOUR beliefs?

I use to question my beliefs until I found the truth. And this is the Truth: Jesus is the Son of God and He is the only way to Heaven.

Someone who doesn't question their beliefs and isn't willing to dig deeper for the truth has blind faith. Such faith is not true faith, and therefore is valueless.
If we were all required to "just believe" without having knowledge, the Bible could be a much shorter book.

I questioned and I walked away form my Lord.
Luckily He did not give up on me. He knocked ad knocked my heart's door. I realize that He will not force Himself in. The handle was inside. There is no shortcuts to a spiritual maturity. Give it time. I love to study His Word : )

Most of our beliefs are instilled from birth on us by our parents, friends, community and the older we get I think the less we question our values and beliefs.
