I've been to the middle east many times. Muslims are good people, but they live strange lives. They speak of peace and oneness with Allah, yet they have no problem beheading innocent people. America is at war as we speak. We are trying to kill the enemy which is terrorism. To the terrorist everyone is the enemy, they'll kill women, children, babies whatever! They do not value life at all. If we bomb a known terrorist birthday party we're the bad guys. They'll bomb a buss of school children and nobody has anything to say, why is that? Islam is a culture of hate, and hate crimes. The sad part about it is we will never defeat them, unless we destroy them entirely, just as God instructed against His enemies in the Bible days.

Well, ....
Many Muslims here keep saying things like Mr. xmodry above me.
I'm sure that many of the more educated and well bred Muslims aren't the violent kind. However, I'm afraid their number, among their Community, is very low!
The large number of Muslims, I'm given to understand, are middle school drop outs!? They end up being cabbies, janitors and mechanics or stuff like that.
Now, is that our fault?
If, as they claim, Islam is really Peaceful, then how do we explain this genocide of Shias and Sunnis? Of Sufis? Of Ahmediyyas? Of Baha'is? Of Parsees? Of Hindus ? And, most recently, of Buddhists, in Southern Thailand?
How do you explain the fact that all those Terrorists are, in fact, Muslims and those are Islamic Organizations?
Seems mighty strange to me!?
Of course, saying such obvious Truths will have people like Ms. sincerasoy claim that people like me are Muslim haters and cheats and things like that.
That seems to be their only defense - offense!
However, I've come across some more well-educated Muslims, like a Doctor called Roshni, people like Adia and some others who have openly condemned the Terrorists and the Muslims who have been committing atrocities.
Unfortunately, I fear their number is very small and they, too, run the risk of being targetted by the more radical lunatic fringe!
So, what do we, non-Muslims do, now?
Wait for a few more planes to be flown into our buildings? Have more bombs explode on our trains? Have more of our people beheaded?
I'm sad to say, the fanatics are pushing the World into considering acceptable collateral damage in the retaliation, now.
Peace.
ST
Edit:
In reply to Mr. xmodry's question. I'm sorry that I don't know any middle school drop out Muslims personally, like you'd asked. We don't really move around in the same circles, you see.
However, may I say that it's self evident that their numbers are bigger because you see most cabbies, janitors, menials and mechanics, who are ill educated have Muslim names. It's very rarely that you see a Doctor or Manager or Professional who has a Muslim name. I have an Outsourced office in India and I've just 2 Muslims in my IT related Company where we have 975 Office Staff and Engineers. One is a junior Engineer and the other is an Accounts Clerk. And we're an Equal Opportunity Company where we managed to get these two whom we hired to fill the Minority Reservation even though they fell short of the requirements slightly.
However, all the chauffeurs are Muslims and so are the bus boys in our Cafetaria and the janitors!? Here, in USA, I've yet to see a Muslim in my Field.
Does that tell you something?

One person's freedom fighter is another person's terrorist. When the Afghans were fighting the Cold War for the Americans, they were applauded as "freedom fighters." Now when they lack congruity with American objectives in the region, they are seen as terrorists. What's wrong here?
What you have to understand is that Muslims are not fighting a holy war as is very easily used in the media, they are fighting for basic rights. Take for instance Palestine, what would Americans do if all of the East Coast was given to Venezuela? Obviously regardless of religion (25% of Palestineans are Christian), all would bear arms and fight for their land. Wouldn't you? Nothing to do with religion.
All people of the book preach God's word and that is to love and be tolerant of others, but what you are being fed in the media is only on the surface. Look deeper.
There are over 2 billion Muslims in the world and Islam is the fastest growing religion in the States, so these extremists that are paraded over the mass media are NOT a true representation of Islam.
Kind of like saying Timothy McVeigh or David Koresh stood for Christianity. Even better, the churches down south who have bizarre rituals with snakes. Blasphemous right?
My point is, in every religion there are deviants, but we can't just make a blanket statement like you just have. We need to look deeper and ask ourselves why is Islam fastest growing religion in America?
I hope I gave you a different perspective on this.

Even after 1000 years of Islamic rule in India, Spain etc, human beings by no skill revolted against the government. The peace remained.human beings have been happy and happy. certainly one of those venture can purely deliver a monument like Taj Mahal. how many such issues created after that for the period of democratic India ? yet 200 years of Christian rule in India made human beings insurrection. the placement is Hindus would desire to not tolerate 50 years of Buddhist rule and grew to alter into terrorists in Sri lanka yet see the muslim international locations. 80% who're working there are Hindus and Christians, risk-free and non violent in all risk extra advantageous than interior sight Muslims in India.

Although I am not a Muslim (I am Roman Catholic), I find this question incredibly offensive. Islam is not a violent religion in any sense, however I believe that it would be very hard to find any modern and civilized religion that condones or encourages violence. However the stated beliefs of a religion and the actions carried out by its members are often at odds. Catholocism opposes the death penalty, but many Catholics support it. Does this mean that Catholocism supports the death penalty? Just because the majority of current terrorists happen to be Muslim, it does not imply that the true believers condone their actions. I do believe that Islam was founded by a military leader and that it encourage venegeance, but these are simply reflections of the culture in which Islam was created. Also the idea that death in fighting one's enemies brings one eternal paradise is actually fairly common in many monotheistic religions.

They feel that God's peace is them killing infidels. When your in a crazy cult religion you believe all types of things. Muslims need to just come out with it! Be honest, tell the world how much it sucks, and that you want to take it over.

Well not all terrorists are Muslims. That's a pretty bold statement.
Anyway, Muslims can claim to be peaceful the same way that people of any other religion do.
