Hate the sin and love the sinner. If people can love their family members for being murderers and criminals, then coming out of the closet is nothing.

It wouldn't happen in mine. They've been very happily (and audibly... ugh.. :S) married for over 20 years, and in all that time they never thought that homosexuality made any sort of sense. If one of my folks came out, they'd be pulling my leg. :P
