Nobody can prove any gods, much less a specific god, exist; many people will tell you their god exists but no others, but will never be able to prove it, even if they think so. Some will threaten you with eternal pain or promise eternal joy to get you to believe in their god; these are all stories, created for people who were scared long before we understood the universe. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.

If you are having any doubts, overcome it! That's great, stonger faith emerges from doubt (good example is C.S. Lewis).
If you're trying to find out a proof like we can trap Him into a cage or something or take a picture of Him or have an interview one on one, well, that kind of proof is kind'a imposible. But I know there's just God... consider this: Where did the universe came from? It isn't just had to be there, isn't it? Why are all the planets in complete harmony and sunchronization that they won't bump into each other? Of course, there's gravity and all but a Greater Force, I believe, is behind that.
Okay, so here's a story... a saint was so desperate to also prove the existence of God. There are a lot of questions in his mind seeking for answers but as he was walking into the seashore... he met a child digging for a well. When he asked the child what was he doing, the child replied that he was going to put all the waters of the sea into his 'well'. That's something like that. All the those knowledge will never be contained in these coconut shell of ours because we are only limited. We are programmed like a computer and there are some things we cannot figure out. Faith will never be based on reason. Because its faith. Faith is to believe in something let's say, you too don't know... because again, its called faith.
And also, because I can feel Him. In the very core of me, there He is. He's in the wind, in the water, in the trees, He's in the song of every creation of Him that's around me. The problem is, we can't hear or feel Him too well because other noises distract our attention and blinds and numbs our hearts.
Jesus rose from the dead because the disciples said so... and they died fr what they have said. Would you die for a lie? Would you stand true into something not really real though the price is to be stoned to death? Would you agree to be burned at stake into something that's a lie? Be drowned? Be beaten? Be tortured? Maybe you will, but only for the truth and only for the truth. They (11 or 12, except John the Beloved) died for this testimony (and also consider the other martyrs)! So, indeed, it's true.
Hope this helps!

Simply because there is no evidence for the existence of a God doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Imagine you were born in raised in the tropics before the advent of modern means of communication or technology and someone told you that solid water called ice exists, using the same logic the person can say that ice doesn't exist, and he/she would be wrong.

Remember when people say they don't believe God exists they too have to prove it. It's hard to prove anything that is not mathematical the best both atheists and believers can offer are arguments.

Philosophy Talk did a great show on the Existence of God, if you scroll down you will find 4 arguments for the existence of God:

Yes, there is a God And I believe the proof of His existence lies in the core of our own nature. We are, by nature made to worship. Unfortunately, sin has bent most of us so that we end up worshiping the wrong beings or things.

In our society, sex is idolized as the ultimate experience, and romantic love as the highest love their is. People tend to feel their worth based on their salaries, or their possessions, or the admiration of their friends.

And yet, most people walk around empty inside. That emptiness is their lack of a relationship with Jesus Christ. It is ever offered to them. People would just rather delude themselves they are in control by getting high and ignoring that emptiness.

The happiest people I know make the least amount of money, own the least amount of items and love God more than their spouses and themselves. They dedicate their lives to God, and it shows in the way they live their lives. If someone tells you they are a Christian and then stay out on Saturday nights, chasing sex or drinking or gambling, they aren't Christians. That's an extreme example, but pay attention to the lesser ones and compare them to this list: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfuness and self-control. Those who are really living for the Lord display most if not all of these characteristics all the time.

Miracles abound from God, even among those who reject him. Introduce the alcoholic to God and suddenly, there's a brand new person in front of you who won't touch a drink even if their life depended on it. Don't believe me? Try visiting an open AA meeting and you'll hear over and over again. "I got through this day without drinking only by the grace of God."

I know God exists not because of what I feel, and not because of the faith He blessed me with, but because of what I have seen Him do in my life and the lives of the people around me- Praise the Lord!

Ask, Him and you will see His glory too.

The current state of the universe and man's knowledge of it make it impossible to know with any certainty whether God, "a god," or "gods" exist, because our knowledge is nescessarily limitted to this universe and this universe only.

We can speculate about the nature of the extra-universal cosmos, but we cannot do more than that.

Those who want to find enough reason to believe in God are perfectly able to do so - including personal experiences of "His presence" or "His will."

The Universe is also set up so that those who do not believe can point to a lack of evidence (at least, in their own experience, for in the end, our senses are the only reliable witness) and declare that there is "nothing supernatural."

To claim that one starting point (atheism, for example) is more valid than to start from the other ( faith ) really is purely a political argument, and ignores personal experience. Moving from one position to the other (and back again) happens all the time.

You cannot argue with someone who has "seen angels," other than to say they are wrong. You cannot argue with someone who has never seen angels (unless you're willing to call them blind.)

In the end, the existence, nature, and will of the Supernatural are questions you will have to come to your own conclusion on. Those of us who have taken a stand, one way or the other, can only tell you of our experiences, and help you along your own path.

define god...

I have a problem believing that there is a sentient being who knows all and sees all ...(part of the reason I get annoyed by bible thumpers who leave "religious" comics or books in the restroom at work...sorry, thinking about a grizzled old man staring at me as I pee is a bit of a turn off)

I tend to think of God as an energy, a force ( not to be confused with THE FORCE ) that connects and winds through all things. I can't prove it...but then there have been several scientic discovers that we couldn't prove prior to the 19th century.

I do feel sad for anyone who can't feel a spark of divine energy within themselves reguardless of belief or non-belief.

Well.. in some circumstances yes I can prove it...
I can feel Him, its like the wind, I can feel Him but I can't see Him..and people believe that there is wind right???....
Also... question for you..
Has anyone else you know ever died for you or saved you from the worst place ever??

I have definitely seen a lot of miracles .. I've gone through miracles or stages in my life where I trusted God.. and He ALWAYS came through for me... He is the best thing on earth.. He is the coolest thing.. the greatest person..
Trust me
Blessings
Hope this helps

No, but you can! You can prove it. But guess what; you have to want it.

I wasn't searching for God necessarily.........but I was looking for one person to be tight with me, close forever more, a special deep unmatchable bond. Not a lover or mere friend, something stronger. Something so real.

Someone to understand me completely, love me unconditionally, etc. etc.

About the same time I was seeking this companionship from the person in my life at the time..........God stepped in and our relationship has continued to grow since.

He was just what i was looking for. ????????
