What Jesus meant was there is no salvation, no matter how hard we try, unless we accept him as our Lord and Savior.
We have no choice really. People who deny Jesus will have to take responsibility for their decision.

I think it means that through believing in God, you feel you can do anything. That you have some power as backup to give you what you need to do like the strength to climb a high mountain or whatever it may be, when normally you would have given up.

It means, since Jesus is a manifestation of 'God', in order for your actions to have some eternal value (ie. mean something), you must follow his example (living in Christ), as his life story is seen as a 'Yoga' for Christians.
