What do you mean by the word synn?
Syn means together, together with, united.
Sin means shameful offense, estrangement from God
Religion is good kind of organazation, good congregation. It teaches you to believe God, to believe his teachings, it teaches you be be good citizen and it teaches everything that is good.
It was commanded by God in the bible that you give food to the hungry. If you will not do it, you are committing a sin against God. Also in our daily life, if you are a good man, you should give food to the hungry
There is the 10 commandments of God which we must ought to follow and aside from it Jesus has given His commandments or law to be followed by a true Christian man. You know your self what is right and wrong or good and bad. Not necessary to explain to you.
You know that stealing is against the law of God, why do you still do it.

Religion is right when it follows God's word the Bible but it is wrong when it does not. There are many sins pointed out in the Bible, this is why we need to have a Bible trained conscience so that we can know what is right and what is wrong, we all have a conscience but many people dull their conscience and are therefore able to feel that they can do anything and it is ok, but is it?You say that if you see a hungry kid and u have food but u don't give him any you will feel really BAD this shows that you naturally have a God given conscience and you need to keep it in good working order by learning from God's word the Bible to truly be able to know right from wrong, and then you will not even steal money wether it is from someone who has a lot of money or just alittle bit of it. It is God who sets the standards for what is good or bad in the Bible not mankind. Foe many Centuries mankind has been setting their own standards of good and bad in their own eyes and where has this led us to today?

well, the ten commandments are new rules given to Israel, but they are good rules to live by...
don't steal as you said, don't murder, don't lie about your neighbor...
If you aren't a monotheist, then perhaps you'd have trouble with the "no Gods before me" thing, and Jesus did seem to "break" the Sabbath on occasion. (he healed on the Sabbath, gathered wheat on it, etc).
Jesus explained that the greatest commandment was love. Love God with all your heart, mind and strength, and love your neighbor as yourself. So, it's like a conscience.
So in a way, you're right.
Religion tells you to follow your conscience, which it calls the Holy Spirit.
As Obi Wan says "You must do what you think is right of course". Star Wars uses many religions as it's source (although there is an eastern influence with the "there is no love" nonsense)

Without a standard to live by, who determines right or wrong? Its all relative. There is no consensus. You can say what I did is wrong and I can disagree with you. So, where do we go from there? The laws in the USA are based on the 10 commandments. Without them how could we agree on what is right and what is wrong?
For example, take the abortion issue. Is it ok to take a life, just because it isnt convenient for you? Are we made in God's image like the bible says or are we just descendants of the primordial soup? Just here by chance.
I believe we have a divine creator who made us in his image and who loves us. and he gave us laws to live by to govern our lives. if you read the bible you will see that no man could have written the things in there. the bible says that the god of this world has blinded the minds of those who do not believe.

The whole point of life is for you to be able to grow up and figure out right and wrong on your own without a lot of help.
If you don't want to use the Bible as a reference, you could always rely on your reputation. Take for example the reputation of Islam today. Do you think they're being embraced by the world for being such a nice, holy and peaceful religion?
(Hint: murder is probably wrong, and Islam's reputation is proof that the belief that murder is wrong is pretty universal. God likely agrees.)

Religion was created by people to follow certain principles in order to lead us into the Right way.
But unfortunately religion itself being Flawed does not solve the purpose
I would say you be a honest person ,don't try to hurt others physically or mentally,do your duties and responsibilities sincerely, try to help others who are in need when you are in a position to help
you will have conscience only if you follow these things and by the way it is only with Human beings and not with other living beings..so you can figure it out for yourself and see whether you want to be a human being or ..................

For all have sinned and fallen short of God's standard the Bible says. The Bible is the inspired Word of God, and our conscience is God given. It's not religion what people need, its a right relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
